Custom Thane Weapons replaces the weapons rewarded to the player when they become a Thane. The weapon type and quality (from iron to daedric) can be changed at a forge, they can be tempered and enchanted. The models can be customised and will not change if the quality is improved. Each of the 10 Thane weapons have their own individual models.

Custom Thane Weapons replaces the weapons rewarded to the player when they become a Thane with a weak Draugr battleaxe. Each of the 10 thane weapons are independent from each other.

Weapon Type
This battleaxe can be taken to a forge and remade into a weapon type of the players choice: Battleaxe, Bow, Dagger, Greatsword, Mace, Sword, WarAxe, Warhammer

Quality
The weapons can be upgraded in quality from Iron, Steel, Orcish, Dwarven, Elven, Glass, Ebony, Daedric. It does require a small amount of material but there is no smithing perk requirement for this as I did not want to limit it to a certain play style.

Tempering
Each weapon can be tempered (except the starting Draugr Battleaxe)

Enchanting
The weapons are free from enchantments so you can apply your own. Changing quality will clear the tempering and enchantment. At Daedric quality you can reforge the Daedric quality so you can change the enchantment.

Custom Model
The weapon models(.nif) can be change with custom ones to give a unique look to the weapon, which it will keep even as the quality of the weapon type is changed.

Changing Type
At Daedric quality you can also reforge the starting weapon to allow you to forge the weapon into a different type of weapon if you want a change (Does reset to iron quality)





Custom Thane Weapons - 1.0
Replaces all Thane weapons with a vanilla set of models, a different set for each of the 10 Weapons.
These can be replaced by following the instruction in photos 30-39 on the mod page.
A collection of vanilla meshes are provided in the additional downloads, no textures required.
If using a models from another mod please ensure the textures are installed as well.

:: REPLACES VANILLA THANE WEAPON, YOU ONLY GET 1 OF EACH ::
If installed mid playthrough use (player.additem XXXXXXXX 1) to recive the new weapon if already obtained, also riften will only be obtainable from a new game.

- Anything, Should not have any compatability issues unless it changes the specific quest line you recive the rewards: MQ104, FreeFormRiftenThane, Favor250, Favor252, Favor253, Favor254, Favor255, Favor256, Favor257, Favor258

::  KNOWN ISSUES ::
• Blade of the Rift will not generate properly mid game so (player.additem xx004979 1) console command is required. Does work with a new game however.
• Not compatible with other mods that alter Thane weapons.
