To celebrate the second anniversary of the release of Skygerfall, we have a classic update! First, a paper map based on the original TES2 map of the Iliac Bay! (Drawn by VMBlast, used with permission, and available as an optional update here on the Nexus.) Second, some classic sounds of TES2, exclusively available on the Discord Server! (These are only loose sound files, so they will work in both LE and SE. The link is pinned in the announcements channel.)
For those having difficulty downloading a file over 1GB, I have been told that there is an issue with Windows 10 and large files. If you download with Firefox and tell it to resume the download when interrupted, your download should finish. If you download with Chrome, it does not resume, but begins to download from the beginning and never completes.
Don't want to start a new game? Use Realm of Lorkhan + its add-on. It's more than just an alternate start mod. It creates portals throughout Skyrim (one is in Riverwood) to the Realm. Step through the portal from Skyrim to the Realm. Then step through the portal to Daggerfall. When you are finished, you will return to the Realm, and then you can return to Skyrim.

5/24/20 NEW FIX: For the rare glitch of imp wings appearing on the player character (cause unknown). If it happens to you, download the Imp Wings FIX from the Miscellaneous files, then: (1) Activate this plugin. (2) Cast the restoration spell added to your character: Imp Wings Be Gone! (3) Remove the plugin if desired. (4) Profit.
Let's be realistic; the mod has been out for nearly two years... There are not going to be any major bugs found, so the bugs tab has been removed. Report your problems here, with your load order, and we will try to help you.
It's interesting and I was excited to try it. But I am having some serious issues with lag due to the huge interior space you start in and all the monsters its tracking. I also noticed that no matter where I tried to sneak I never became hidden. Anyways after being killed one too many times by a thief I decided to leave it be for now.
Most of these issues are your own. Either your computer is exceptionally weak for 2024, or you have too many other mods. Interior space is fine, even in the 32 bit version, and you can sneak even in the first dungeon. The thief is hard on purpose, because it is a taste of Daggerfall. Try lowering your difficulty.
No matter where I try to sneak in the first dungeon, I'm seen. I hid in the corner of the prison area with the imp with the door closed, and the Thief ran in and immediately started attacking me.
im so confused. It says this mod starts you in daggerfall? It started me in Skyrim tho outside the intro cave? What went wrong? I use no alternate start mods if that helps. I read that this hijacks the default start and I was under the impression you start in daggerfall.
EDIT: Nvm. Installed Alternate perspective and it worked. This wasnt in the mod description or requirements (which it should be imo). Thanks anyway for the amazing mod
With the Realm of Lorkhan addon, can you return to the Daggerfall worldspace after finishing the quest line and moving on to Skyrim, or is it still permanently left behind?
Hey, if I wanted to continue playing my main playthrough which takes place in Skyrim, do I disable Skygerfall and then enable it in the new playthrough to play/continue Skygerfall without losing progress? Does that work and I'm only after the Author's response only for my question.
You can have Skygerfall active and simply continue playing in Skyrim as you normally would. It only changes one chest in Jorrvaskr. You need to start a new game or use console commands to start the quest.
