Description:

Simple Mods Simple Pleasures is a repository of mini-mods with a few common themes:
-Compatibility; with each other and other mods
-Simplicity; you don't need to read a guide to figure out how they work
-Low/No impact on performance; these are all small Creation Kit mods with little to no scripts.
-Does What it Says it Does; no mystery edits, random changes or extraneous additions that go beyond the scope of the mod.
-All mods are flagged as .esl files
-No Requirements
-Open Permissions

You'll probably be able to think of several other mods that do the same things as SMSP, perhaps even better! That's great! Leave a recommendation in the comments where people can find those. SMSP exists as an easy to find one-stop-shop.

Current Mini-Mods:

Enhanced Food
Spoiler:
Show
Food is useless in vanilla Skyrim. Now it's slightly less useless. Previous restoration effects have been changed to long term fortify effects. Prepared foods, beverages and sweets additionally grant a long term buff to health, stamina or magicka regeneration rate.

Gradual Potion Restoration
Spoiler:
Show
Restoration potions (Health, Stamina, Magicka and the Well-Being potions) now apply their effects over a 5 second duration. The total magnitude of the attributes restored is the same.

Infinite Torch
Spoiler:
Show
The vanilla torch has a 2 minute lifespan if left out to continuously burn. There was always an exploit to un-equip the torch and thus reset the 2 minute timer. This mod eliminates the need to exploit the torch lifespan and gives them an infinite burn time. One torch lasts a lifetime.

Non Aggressive Slaughterfish
Spoiler:
Show
Slaughterfish are not fun to encounter in Skyrim. They die easy, when you can hit them, and more often just disrupt sleep/wait/fast travel functions...WHILE YOU'RE ON DRY LAND. This mod lowers their aggression level to very tame and docile.

Protected Horses

Spoiler:
Show
Want to waste 1000 gold? Buy a horse! Horses that can be owned by the player are now flagged as 'Protected', making them generally invincible against enemies. The player can still hunt and kill these horses and they can still die from area of effect spells, fall damage, poison, etc. Horses will engage enemies in combat but upon reaching critical low health, the horse will run away, and enemies will attack a new target...like you.

Coins Have Weight
Spoiler:
Show
No, you cannot carry 1,000,000 septims and be completely unburdened. Gold coins now weigh 0.05 each, or 20 coins to 1 pound.

Future Plans:

Enhanced Weapons
Spoiler:
Show
Different weapon classes should function differently, even if the player lacks specific perks. A mace should hit differently from a dagger, or a sword or a two handed axe. Enhanced Weapons adds several perks to the player giving all weapon groups (sword, axe, mace, dagger, ranged) small innate effects such as bleeding damage, armor penetration, slow and stun.

Knock Out
Spoiler:
Show
Sneak attacks with blunt weapons have a chance to knock out (e.g. paralyze) the target. Because if you get a chance to hit a bandit from the rear while they're sitting by the fire eating a sweetroll they are NOT just standing up like nothing happened!
