Does scars are baked into npc's facegens, tintmasks or anything else (and thus this mod works only for player character (and possibly vanilla npc if manualy re-generated)) or are they something totaly separated (and so will work even with modded npc) ?
It's a replacement for default Skyrim scars so it works on PC and NPCs and as long as followers are linked to Skyrim's resources and not their own files, it should work too.
Thanks, but this was not exactly my question... Face paints are part of skyrim default textures but their versions for each npc are stored in each npc's file, so a modification of them only affect the player... I was asking if this is the same thing for scars, as they're are a texture placed on the face too...
I'm new to tinkering with Skyrim so forgive me if there's an obvious answer to this but, does anyone else have the game suddenly close on them when using racemenu to choose presets when this mod's installed? I seemed to narrow it down first to presets and then scars.
EDIT: Nevermind, it must have been a racemenu or mod order issue. I simply reinstalled the mod and all is well again.
