The 2.0 ESL version did not work for me. Downloaded with Mod Organizer 2 and made sure the plugin was enabled. But no change to the amulet Tried the 1.1 version and it did work, but that was before the disenchant update so it is 15% now but I can't disenchant it, not ideal but still better than vanilla
I like that you chose 15% to keep it useable but not over powered.
You should consider carrying forward bug fixes that this mod is currently blocking. The amulet in vanilla is missing a keyword and the magic effect has a bug as well. It will not create dependency on the Unofficial Patch.
You should also consider changing this from a hard .Esl to an esp flagged as an esl so that the file load order can be managed. As it is now it's considered a master and is stuck near the top of the load order. This is why some people are complaining about it not working. Many other mods touch the same entries.
Hello there! Great mod, much appreciated, I downloaded the esl version recently and finally got my hands on the new-and-improved amulet.
Ran into a small issue: I dis-enchanted it for the Power of Saarthal enchantment, but I can't seem to actually enchant anything with it??? If you have any insight it would be much appreciated.
Hi. I like the idea for this mod, but I'm afraid it's not working for me. The description text is changed (in most* places), but the underlying effect is still only 3%. I don't know what the difference between an esp and an esl file is, but Vortex has the file name "Enhance Saarthal Amulet disenchant.esl", and has it marked as enabled. Are there any extra steps I need to take to get the mod fully working?
* The original Saarthal amulet still says 3%, though the magic effects menu, the enchanting menu, and any items I put it on all say 15%.
I installed the mod but the amulet description still claims to only increase 3%... I don't think I have any other mods that change the saarthal amulet either.
and no it doesn't require a new save but if your using the esl version you will need to activate through loot or vortex first otherwise its not active in your game.
Just in case you want to know and share a version of it, it can be easily transformed into an ESPFE with xEdit. No need to compact the formIDs and nothing else than adding the ESL flag in the ESP header.
