- First and foremost this mod will not work without MFG Console, that allowed for something like this to work - When installing this mod you will notice the changes/death expressions on NPCs after loading 2 cells/rooms or starting a new game and when uninstalling vice versa. - It is recommended to clean up scripts when installing a new version - In terms of mod compatibility this mod does not alter or edit anything else other than adding in more scripts to NPCs dynmically (aka edits nothing) and should be compatible with almost every single mod. There was an issue with SOS before but it was due to some bad scripting that I fixed in V3.7. - Download only MFG FIX instead of OPPRACO'S MFG (this is because the faces will keep making expressions when dead).
If you have downloaded OPPRACO's MFG manually you will have to remove all files associated or else the glitch will persist.
On the other hand, if you still wish to use Oppraco's MFG and this Mod download version 2.1. However, Version 2.1 is outdated and does not allow corpses to keep death expressions on while changing cells. - When reporting a Bug please state what version you're using - Download the main file first: DeathExpressions before optional files: DeathExpressionV3ClosedEyes or DeathExpressionV3OpenedEyes

When updating to a version greater than v3.0 and the face still flickers then use Fallrim/Alternate save cleaner to get rid of old scripts. - Still want the death expression faces from v3.0 and have the added content from v3.5? AKA persistant face after quitting and loading? Get Version 3.25 in miscellaneous including open and closed eyes patches for that. This version is quite unstable and uses old code e.g. NPCs will still see the player using magic dispite there is non. -
I really want to use this mod?However,this mod doesnt work at all(mouth does open somtimes but eyes still closed even after I loaded main file and open eyes file),.MFG loaded,latest skse and i created an new instance on mo2 with no other mods.I dont know what's the problem.
A death expression is preloaded into a actor so that the expression doesnt need to be updated constantly. This means if you're killing the same person all the time they're going to have the same expression unless you go to two different cells or go to main menu and reload save then a new expression is assigned on to that actor.
If you're downloading optional files make sure that in MO2 they replace the main files or that the optional files are below the main file.
Update it seems like the newest MFGFIX when setting up or changing the eye blink function to value 0 it makes the eyes close instead of fully opened as intended. This does not happen with Oldrim MFG or an older MFGFix version.
Not really a big issue but it does affect the open eyes only patch since characters will have their eyes closed on death sometimes.
Temp fix would be to download MFGFIX 1.5.0. until I make version 3.9
Reguarding Aniversary Edition. As long as the SKSE scripts are broken and no MFG mods are fixed this mod is not compatible with the AE version. UPDATE: Download the MFG FIX AE edition here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11669 for this mod to work with AE.
I'm currently using OBIS and this mod added some new bandits to the game. When I kill those bandits they always die with the same neutual expression and it looks pretty strange. I don't know if it is a compatibility problem but can you check it out?
Nice mod. Pardon me for asking, but is it possible for fallout 4 to have the eyes open upon death feature like this mod does. if so, could you walk me through how it would be done? Thanks again for the mod.
I tried but it seems like Fallout 4 is lacking the MFG console not to mention I think its hardcoded for the eyes to close. As for the expression NPCS will typically die with the same expression they had.
If you want open eyes you can go into the tri file with blender and delete the close eye animation. However, the issue here is the eyes will stay open and no more blinking.
I would say having anything like MFG console would help to build the mod as it's there aren't anything like it in Fallout 4. Another issue I would like to point out is that Fallout 4 forces the eyes closed on death and I'm assuming its hardcoded in game. I might make something similar but don't get your hopes up as I'm still focused on modding both Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim over Fallout 4.
If I wanted to exclude the Ebony Warrior to emphasize his honorable death, I'd add something like this to the SPID file, correct? Spell = 0xD6A~DeathExpressions.esp|-DLC2EbonyWarrior|NONE|NONE|NONE|100
