    After I downloaded this mod, the Umbra sword appear on left side of character, but the animations are still like two handed sword. After fight position my character taking nothing from his back, and fighting with nothing. Umbra is still on his left side. Any idea what could goes wrong? My wersion of skyrim is AE 1.6  - i bought it on steam month ago

      Ok, i fixed it. All i done was uncheck, and check again the ESP. file in mod organizer. I have no idea why there was problem before, but now its working :D 

      Great mod btw ;)

    Hello!
    A very good patch to replace with a one-handed type of weapon. But I would suggest the possibility of reforging from a two-handed weapon to a one-handed one and vice versa. So that people always have a choice.

    Hello there! As I understand it your fine with use of the assets here and I was planning on using them for a mod I l’ll be making for the Xbox one, but there was something I wanted to clarify, as I understand it for this mod to work you must have the creation club umbra first, is it possible to do anything with the swords assets without the creation club umbra or is it required?

      I would be reluctant to distribute the 3d model in this mod without making the Creation Club Umbra a hard requirement. The one I have here is simply an edited version of the one in the Creation Club and not an asset that is fully created by me. I personally don't care what you do with it but I don't know what Bethesda's policy is regarding indirect usage like that.

      Also, this mod doesn't include any textures for the model and uses the "vanilla" ones from the Creation Club.

      That’s fair, yeah I realised after posting this that with the dependency of the creation club it wouldn’t really be possible, unfortunate as I don’t really think I’ll be able to buy it on both pc and Xbox so I think it’s a no go, would it be possible to make a no sheath bound version do you think? I’m guessing you probably wouldn’t be interested if so thanks for taking the time to respond regardless. :)

    Anybody else have an issue trying to mount Umbra to a weapons plaque with this installed?  It just will not mount for me.

      I'm sort of a Nexus loyalist, this is where I upload all my stuff and I'm only interesting in managing my mod pages here.

      However everything I do that doesn't use resources from other mods is open source so if anyone wants to take this and upload it there that's all fine by me, as long as it's not my responsibility to manage it on other websites.

    Thanks for this. Even with Oblivion nostalgia aside, the sword model just looks strange as a two-hander.

    Would you be willing to upload this for xbox one? I have no experience modding and would love to use Umbra onehanded.

      I'll probably not be uploading anything to Bethesda.net anytime soon as I tend to stick to the Nexus, but if anyone wants to yoink this and upload it there it's alright by me.

    Hi,
    starting from your mod I have made for myself an alternative 1h Umbra mod that instead replace the CC 2h umbra, is craftable by player after finishing the Umbra quest "Vile Whispers" (req also the ebony smithing perk)
    It keep your modifications to the new sword, and it is also temperable.
    If you are interested to add it here or directly in your mod I will send to you.

      That's awesome. There were a few people asking for a standalone version but it's not something I'd use so I didn't create one as that's not something I want to maintain.

      If you want to create your own mod page for it, feel free to do so. I'll even link to it from this mod's description so people can find it if they come across mine first. Otherwise, if you're keen on keeping it in this page I could upload it as a separate main file.
