Why would you wanna make it physics enabled? It's chainmail.

The main reason is so hair, cloaks, etc., with physics won't clip through the armor (as much)

oh my god THANK YOU. I love NordwarUA mods but it pisses me off that I can´t use them because they don´t match my body, you think you can do the same for Unused faction armors?

To enable presets go into CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderGroups\CBBE SE Guards Armor.xml and change the 3rd line in the file to read <Group name="CBBE">

I changed the third line of the xml. But bodyslide only wants to create the Legion presets.

Because nobody is doing it, thus by putting it up, it encourage peoples to make something better instead of doing nothing :)
I'm the little push in the back if you would.

It would be great if presets can be used in a future update. Thank you for your work!

to prevent clipping you can always zap the body underneath
or if the body is totally covered, just don't include the body reference

That's what I did, the problem is more from nif parts clipping into each other and for ONE case (falkreath armor) one part clipping into itself (I seriously dunno how that's possible)

ah yeah you need to expand the mesh for that and also check the slider edit in 100% (edit mode)
you can use "add project" feature in order to check both meshes at edit mode to fix clipping
add project will not reset the slider data, if you do manual slider data editing

you can like select only the vertice(s) that are clipping and press F to pay resp to show that transform circle thing

A picture is better than a thousand words...
      (see image tab)
only one part is activated to be shown, the chainmail texture clip through the belt texture, while both belt and chainmail are the same obj.
To fix that, my only solution would be to replace this combination mesh with a chainmail mesh + a belt mesh as separate entiities (which I can't do)
      And there's my problem.
(I knew already about both your solutions, but thanks anyway)

I had similar issue before, but it’s fixable
Basically you need to use really small brush, go to wireframe mode, go to vertex view, and deflate problematic vertex

Now I really wish ousnious would include a "set brush size to x value" or something... I''ll try my best.
edit : found the "brush settings panel" I feel dumb.

all my files start with "cbbe se - guards armor", even the group.
So if you can find the group, just search the outfits starting with that :3
