Attention. After giving it some thought and talking with my friends in the community, I have decided to take the following course of action.
Most of my mods have been unhidden for the time being. I have received an overwhelming amount of support from so many users who have sent well wishes, and I appreciate this more than you know. I will no longer be providing support or updates for my mods until Nexus issues can be resolved. Please do not pm me for info regarding this, I will provide more info as I have it.
Can this be done in LE verssion ?.. i've been trying to create similar mod for my own use, but the dialogue wouldn't appear at all in game, the brawling quest assign as change log event, and no seq could be created..and i totally had no clue how to fix it
Not really cuz the mod Doesn't cause the brawl bug so it doesn't require it. If you have another mod that causes the brawl bug then that mod would likely include or recomend it.
I'm not familiar with the dual mod you mentioned. This is just for challenging NPCs to a brawl. I didnt see any other mod for SSE that did that when I searched for brawling mods.
The dueling mod I mentioned is this one (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11276), but it is as if an actual fight where you're allowed to kill someone.
As for modern brawl bugfix, while your mod does not necessarily cause the bug because it's vanilla "feature", don't you think it's safe to at least mention the mod? or confirmation if both mods work together?
If I knew that mod existed I I prob wouldn't have wasted my time making this mod lol. It looks better than my mod. I guess mine is a way simpler alternative with less scripting.
I mean, I guess the brawl patch could technically benefit a user who is using my mod, but the brawl bug is not present in vanilla or with my mod installed, its caused by other mods. If my mod caused it I would mention it, but it doesn't. Anyway I spend hundreds of hours researching, learning and coding them for stability, I'm not sure it's fair for me to have to educate mod users on issues that aren't directly related to my mods.
That said it wouldn't be too hard to add a link to it, I'm just concered people will be confused and think the mod requires it.
No, yours is better based on my need. The dueling mod reduces your relation and also the NPC is killable. So I can punch everyone without worrying about killing them or reduce the relation.
You may have figured this out by now, but you can duel someone without decreasing their disposition by talking to them with the Challenge shout equipped. This will bring up a menu with the option to "spar" and sparring is considered a friendly match.
