So, I think this mod does not work anymore with the 1.6.1179 update. Can you look into it and see if its the mod? Or just me being an idiot, lol

There are no mods listed in the Requirements section, but this mod won't work without RaceCompatibility:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2853?tab=files&file_id=381971&nmm=1

Just letting people know, in case they're wondering why the Draugr race doesn't show up when making a character

The Draugr Faction ring somehow does not work for me?

Try using Realm of Lorkhan alternative start mod, it has option to add you to draugr faction as well

I'd love to build a mod to make this the 'lich form' in Undeath Path of Transcendence; could anyone point me to a tutorial that could help me figure out how to do that? Thanks!

For those interested ive found that only a few ks hairdo's has major clipping if any and apachi hair has a few that look good on them as well
however with my mess of a load order i am unsure how i got the hair to go on in the first place.

To be honest I kinda like it, I mean it sounds logical to me that they might have bald spots. But that's just me.

Alright. First off. Love the mod. I love hearing my char. maniacally laugh every time he hammers a bandit's head in. I do have a concern however. I'm playing the Dawnguard DLC, aaand I believe the vampirism might be broken with this mod. For me, after I was bit by Serana before entering the Soul Cairn, everything functioned as normal. However, after leaving the Soul Cairn, (Even with stage 4 vampirism) no NPC recognized me as a vampire, and so I could not cure myself. I tried to tinker with it for a few hours to find a solution. First solution was the companions. Turns out I happened to contract both Lycanthropy as WELL as having Vampirism... This was unfortunately bad for me, stat-wise. Heavy Negatives.

My second and last resort, was console commands. I attempted to change my race to one of the core races, which DID reset my vampirism to stage 1, but by stage 4 I was having the same issue, with the added exception that NPC's would at least notice my character was sickly.

Am I a tard and broke it somehow? Or is there an actual issue? I do love this mod, and Dawnguard is my favorite DLC. I don't want it to be broken. lol

    Much Love and thanks.

When you are a vampire and you decide to go back in to the racemenu to change your looks it will mess up your vampire powers and other stuff. I did the same mistake it and took away my glowing eyes and made me a human again. I was no longer  vampire. So be careful.

What are some visual mods you guys recommend I should pair with this. I love this mod but sometimes I wish I could alter the face or make the skin a slightly different color

Not really immersive mod. It's very interesting and fun, but not immersive.
First, nobody reasonable regular NPC would accept a "non-living" walking corpse to enter a town, city, etc.
Second, a walkind dead turns to... Dovahkiin??

That's why I'm saying is not immersive mod. But interesting idea.

"Immersive" is what you make of it based on the tools provided. The mod immerses you into the potential of playing as a draugr by providing you with the ability to play as one; you then take it from there. How you roleplay as a draugr is down to how you cultivate the experience; RP in Skyrim is effectively limited to solo. Not everyone roleplays their Skyrim character as the Dovahkiin, you are free to ignore the main story of the game in the pursuit of your own imagination. Nobody said you have to play the quests, you can screw around in Skyrim however you please; it's an open world game and most of the game's dialogue will never refer to you as the Dragonborn/Dovahkiin until you begin completing the main questline, with the only other questline in the game necessitating becoming the Dovahkiin being the Civil War line.

You can choose to play a draugr as a roaming Murderhobo™ rather than the Dovahkiin; most draugar are capable of using the Thu'um, so being that the game is written that you are the Dovahkiin who can learn shouts instantly, it expedites the potential of roleplaying an undead Nord Tongue. You can use console commands to change your faction allegiances, at that.
You could portray a draugr as the undead minion of a necromancer (here being a follower of your choosing). It's already possible for you, while playing a normal character, to walk around with draugar as undead thralls without anyone reacting negatively to you having draugar minions, aside from the generic dialogue NPCs have when you've got an active magic effect going.
You could portray a draugr with full agency who has somehow made an ally (use your imagination, the possibilities are endless) and that ally vouches for you.
You could abide by the idea that you inhabit an alternate reality of Tamriel where it's not uncommon for long dead Nord heroes to return from the grave to fight evil, as a juxtaposition to the idea that all gnarly-looking revenants are automatically evil.

So if you have the basic know-how and the imagination, this mod is effectively all you need to portray a draugr in as immersive a way as possible.
You just choose to think that everyone can only abide rigidly by the canon instead of playing in an open world sandbox as they see fit.

If you mix and match your mods you can have great fun. Everyone hostile, no essentials, no respawns, unlimited followers, and an amulet that makes Draugr friendly, ... I gathered an Army of Darkness and went on a killing spree to wipe all life off the face of Skyrim! :)

I use Jayserpa's "NPCs React to Necromancy" mod and always have an undead summoned, so it feels like the NPCs' comments could be directed at my draugr dragonborn as well.

I had a draugr (and skeleton) playthrough in oldrim. He was always wearing a fully covering armor, helmet and all, hiding himself from humans when in towns. Of course paired with Live another life mod. I imagined he was always the dragonborn, just didn't get to fulfill his potential when he was alive and when Alduin returned he came back to "life" as well.

This. For example, I made up that my Draugr was/is a very powerful wizard and cloaks himself with an illusion spell so people don't notice
he's a walking corpse but they do feel something is not right

Is there a way to make the draugrs revised mod work with this? I got it to work on npc draugr, but not my character. I even tried over writing the files of this mod with ones from the other, but it has no effect. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
