Update v0.4 Added settings menu via spell. Unrelenting Force shout (Fus Ro Dah) now breaks objects. Fixed Items dropping from container when looting. Fixed hanging lanterns falling to the ground. Added more breakable ruins pots. Added more breakable tables. More static objects now physics enabled.
Settings Menu A new spell will be added to the player upon loading the game which allows you to bring up a menu to adjust settings for Destructible Skyrim. An MCM menu will also be added at a later date but this method works without SKSE and SkyUI. Here is an overview of the settings:
Enable/Disable Recieve Bounty - If you break something inside an owned property, shop or tavern then you will get a bounty by default if seen. This turns off that feature so you don't get in trouble for breaking stuff.
Enable/Disable Container Drop Items - By default containers you break will spill out their contents onto the ground but instead you can have the container just drop a satchel with all the items inside by disabling this.
Set Item Drop Limit - Suppose you put 1000 cabbages in a barrel. This will set how many of those items will actually be visibly dropped on breaking. Up to 10 will be shown by default and after this number they will be stacked together as one item. Lower this number for slower computers and less clutter. You can experiment with increasing but I wouldn't recommend going too high.
Set Object Reset Timer - This is how many hours it takes for an object to reset to its default undamaged state when broken. By default this is set to 24 hours. If you want objects to stay broken for a long time or you have a slower computer then you can change this.
Remove Spell - Removes this settings menu spell should you feel the need.
the mod is magical. but there is an annoying issue with brawl. when you're fighting and your puch somehow braks a chair or table, guards interrupt the thing and you loose, not to mention going to jail. yes, I knwo we can turn the functionality of breaking stuff in owned houses getting you crime status, but would be nice if the mod added a exception or even a delay for the guards to wait untill you finished and recieved the septims... just an feedback idea
I havent had a single problem with this mod until I went inside the Companions guildhouse. When they break the chair fighting somehow I get bounty for it. What the fck is up with that?!
Hello, I contacting you for translate your mod in french (BOS version) . With the idea of being respectful of your work and your rights over it.
Despite this, sometimes certain creators have left the community due to changes in everyday life. In addition, sometimes, some creator creates her mod page fastly without paying attention to the copyright privilege section.
Hoping not to bother you if you see this message much later, and to compromise with these problems I usually post the mod after a month of no response, giving full access of course and no opt-in DP without responses.
I also take in consideration instructions of "Permissions and credits" on top priority front of everything's I said here, of course.
With the idea of let you keep a total control over your creation without the constraint of time or presence, you can delete it or ask me to do changes for you or just leave it like that.
I hope you will understand this way of doing things, thank you for your work, have a good day !
This mod is cool but outdated. There's another one that uses spid that works with your texture replacers. But i'm not sure if this one worked with texture replacers to begin with since I never used this mod. Its called Destructible Skyrim - Base Object Swapper
