After using the mod myself for 4 years, I've made some careful changes to how often each new song plays by adjusting the time of day and region(s) for each, being a bit more discriminating than previously. So if you ever felt that certain tracks came up a little too often, then version 1.3 is for you.
Some examples of the changes in 1.3:
Night tracks start later - previously 6pm (sunset time), now 8pm (actual start of nighttime).
Jata used to play at any time of day, in almost any region, now it only plays during the day in Mountains, Tundra, and the Rift.
Ginnung (Part 2) used to play at any time of day, in almost any region, now it is a dusk track for the Mountain, Tundra, Pine Forest, and Snow regions.
Njol used to play at any time of the day, in almost any region, now it is a dusk, nighttime, and dawn track for the Snow and Mountain regions.
Honestly, while I really get what you mean by Bifrost sounding festive, I think it would work really well alongside other piano-heavy tracks in the game like Whiterun. Have you considered adding the track only to Whiterun? I feel like it would fit very well there.
I might be able to work the introduction into something, but even the full song is already only just over a minute long so it doesn't make much sense, I think...
Yeah, I get it. Might not be worth the trouble seeing if it fits. But the Whiterun musicscape does sound rather repetitive, so even an extra track would mean quite a bit. No problem if it doesn't end up fitting the vibe tho.
hello there! i just started playing skyim and there are many great music mod such as Chapter II - Jeremy Soule Inspired Music, but i have to say that so far your mod is better because of the immersion of WHEN/WHERE a song play. thanks again i am still testing the mod. btw, dumb question, but what is the difference between the regular n esl version?
Any recommendations for other music mods that are in line with Soule's Skyrim and Northerner Diaries? Even the often mentioned greats like Chapter II seem to be slightly off, imo.

Glad you like it!
I'm not sure, you can check it yourself by opening both mods in xEdit to see if they conflict.
