    Got annoyed myself with the sound as well as many people downloading follower mods with Companion's Insight complained about the loud noise (yeah I call it noise, I play with my Sony headphones). So, about time someone did something about it. So far, seems to work well in my Load Order. Comments are welcome.

    Thank you so much for this. I started a new play-through with new follower mods, after a long break - and I was like "wtf is this horrible noise every time I load a new area?' I don't remember this??' - I had no idea what it was. By pure chance, I saw your mod on the nexus a couple of days later and I am very grateful for it. Cheers!

      Thanks for the feedback, I didn't change the version number as in the second file, the approach was totally different. Wanted to be sure, if the second approach worked perfectly. Removed the older file now.

    Initial testing is mixed. The follower mod "Naria" is the only one that makes the "bonging" sound on cell change. With this installed, the sound only occurs during an exterior cell change. For instance, when I go from the main room of Lakeview Manor to the cellar, no sound. Nor is there one when I enter or exit a building. But when I go from, say, the Whiterun Stables to Frostflow Lighthouse, the "bonging" noise still happens. So, it reduces the amount the sound happens but doesn't eliminate it completely.

      Thanks for the feedback, this Bugthesda s#*! is ridiculous. Initially I tried to lower the Sound Level on the Magic Effect, but it didn't work. Time to dig more deep.

      Tried a different manipulation, seems it's working. Will upload that version later today when I get back from work.

      Might be worth changing the version number on the later upload? It's been working great for me, but they both say v1.0 on the files page.
