PLEASE NOTE - NO LONGER SUPPORTED

I haven't been active in the nexus mods space, particularly Skyrim in a long time. Just realised today this mod is still active, unfortunately, I am no longer on a crossfire set-up so can no longer support the mod or test it. It may still work for some, so please try it out and continue to share your experiences/tips.

Just started playing SSE ( been waiting for the SKSE64), and of course the first thing I looked for is CrossfireX-enabling mod. This one works well without SKSE, but once I directed the profile launcher to SKSE loader, it stopped working. Any patch to allow us to launch the game through loader? Thanks.

Edit : OK, for reasons unknown, the problem stated above is gone. But I got character flickering face, some weird glowing brightness that made it almost impossible for me create a character. The FPS was ok, I got between 50-60fps almost everywhere, but the flickering face is what made me uninstall this.

Then, I use guide located at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7787 and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2589 and now my game is running, well, not perfectly, but I manage to get 40-45 fps outdoors and a solid 60 fps indoors, with 172 mods installed including the VRAM-demanding SFO and SBT. (which were the reasons why my fps is worse off outdoors) And I am running on a single, ancient HD7800 2GB series graphic card, without Crossfire. Not bad.

I can't even get crossfire to work with SE. I have two MSI Twin Frozr III 7950's. Crossfire works with Fallout 4 just fine. Grrr.On the bright side, I still get good framerates (45-60). It'd be nice if AMD got off their fanny's and did something.

I should have left well enough alone. I decided to update drivers, etc...It took 4 hours of effing around with AMD and their crap software. The driver / software packages kept failing to install even after using the amdcleanup utility and DDU to wipe out drivers and software. The Radeon software would bomb on install.

I finally figured out that for some reason the package installer would fail, but I could go into the extracted directory (c:/amd/versionofsoftware) and hunt down the msi packages that failed, and just manually install them. Which worked fine.

Kind of sad that crossfire performance is so shitty though. 45-60 FPS with single card.... around 20 FPS with crossfire. Tried every mode. The fallout4 profile is marginally better, but the screen size is messed up so about 1/4 of the right side and bottom are cutoff.

PS I did try your fix, but it didn't seem to help. Thanks for your efforts though!

I tried this and runs very well with my crossfire.
      The problem is the menues...
I can't see anything, nor Skyui or default menues or whatever. But my 2 RX 480 Nitro+ are under 80% load :-)
Thanks! If you encounter a fix for the fix, please, post here. And Thanks again

@MorZiLLo, similar experience with my 480 Nitro+ CF ,atleast this is a step forward (i hope AMD brings a proper profile for this ) Furthermore ,i think i am slightly OCD as i just cannot live with the sky not properly rendered lol ,anyway BIG thank you for the Mod Author for doing the work ,atleast we have something now

Thanks for the feedback guys, like I said in my other comment menu's should work if you use hotkeyes rather than tab - they will flash a little but I am doing some more experimenting to see if I can fix this and the sky. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long for an official profile!

Works for me too, on my rather ancient 7850's. Both cards were at around 60%. Did experience some terrible over-brightness in Whiterun (even after using the .bat fix) and some weird frame hickups every now and then. At least the frame rate was very smooth and I could see both cards utilized by using MSI's afterburner utility.
Problem is that I still can't see any menus, even when trying to use the shortcuts as Gutfux suggested. But at least it works. We just gotta get AMD's attention to finish up the job for good

I get crazy bad flickering on nearly everything, indoors not so bad but outside feels like a seizure-fest. Some textures such as the armor aren't affected by it for some weird reason. Running 2 RX 470s here, same architecture as the RX 480s that people have been having trouble with.

I still appreciate the effort you put into making a fix for the crossfire problem even if it doesn't work for Polaris users.

For the hell of it try turning off SFO (Surface Format Optomization) right above the AMD Xfire Mode option in the profile, hope it helps!

Helped a bit, at least until I opened the map then the flickering returned.

2x380's here and this file doesn't do anything but change colors and maybe bring gamma down but you can tell it's still flickering in the background until you press map, tab or anythinbg then back to seizure party!!

So is not a polaris only thing

ok i'm trying to figure this out for OldSkyrim I DL a fix that involved a ENB "made for AMD users" lol, and yes has the usual flickering and what not, but then looking for SSE came across this post, ran the bat and well looks nicer yes! but the crossfire doesn't seem to work. old Skyrim can see the cards going at it, SSE with your file only see 1 card working and once in a blue moon i'll see a quick burst on the secondary card, anything i'm missing? by the way 2x 380's.

Hi there, strange that using a console command causes your game to crash. Unfortunately I haven't seen this happen before so not sure if I can help, I have both those mods but have no issue so potentially something wrong with the core game?

idk but yesterday i played 5 hours and at end windows crashed again, no commands i used, so its random, anytime any where, or may be i with immersive citizens mod, i first seen this problem after this mod installed, so i gonna try disable it. (but i don't think, a mods can course entire windows crash. may be its comparability problem) because old skyrim worked perfect. but sorry i am going very off topic to this mod

If my game was doing that I'd probably reinstall Windows. Though you could start with doing a fresh install of all your required software, i.e. visual c++, directx, video drivers, etc, and see if that helps.
