You know the least you could do is say "no, I will not be updating this." Much better than ignoring everybody.

Be mad at bethesda for "updating" their 13 year old game.

It's actually a pity, I'm on 1.5.97 and this mod matches beautifully with his Slayable Offspring and Savage Offspring mods, after tweaking some INI settings. It really makes Skyrim more believable even if you don't plan to go on a murderous rampage. I'd love to keep using it when I finally update to AE… but po3 is doing this for free so can we really complain?

And would him saying that change anything? Youre just being salty and forcing someone to do as you want when you get these mods for free.

Truly an N'wah With Attitude, just like your name suggest.

Great mod, works exactly as labelled.
For anyone on Anniversary Edition trying to use this mod, I found a handy tool that can make any mod work with AE
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618

Works really well, increases the amount of compatible mods with your install, and you lose out on absolutely no content. Good deal imo

wouldn't using a downgrade patcher also mean the person modding would have to tweak all their other mods to match the new version, many of which probably have been archived and hidden by the mod authors such as Arthmoor hiding old versions of the Unofficial Patch which would block use of dozens to hundreds of mods because of dependancies?

you aren't allowed to think. just follow the masses and downgrade. (even though downgrading isn't as necessary anymore)

Can't this mod just work on later versions with BEES? Idk what everyone's so worried about if we have BEES. Unless this is plugin-free

BEES is for using new mods on old game version, not using old mods on the new game version

Mod works just fine for me, but occasionally triggers the message on NPCs I'm supposed to kill for a quest, or sometimes names the wrong (but recently-killed) NPC. For example, killing Logrolf (the Boethiah priest) for Molag Bal's quest triggered the message despite his only purpose being for that quest, and going on a rampage in Dragonsreach properly popped Proventus's and Balgruf's names up, but everyone else used their names too.

Does this mod work with 1.6.659 (GOG equivalent to 1.6.640 on Steam)?

This mod doesn't work. I can't kill Balgruuf, regardless if I complete his quest or not.

Late but read the mod page my friend, there's an INI file which you can configure to apply to all NPCs, add or remove exceptions…

This might sound strange but having this enabled and then doing the Alduin's Bane quest renders one of the NPCs scripted to die immortal. Granted that quest is very bugged but after trying the different methods to progress on that quest, simply disabling this mod caused the scene play out as normal. Also having this enabled means Alduin can be killed when he isn't supposed to and messes up the quest progression. Just a heads up, otherwise it works fine for me - some of the other bugs I've encountered have already been mentioned here.

Yeah this mod needs a major rework, it seems that scripted deaths are completely broken, Miraak, Storn Crag-Strider etc somehow become immortal (and in my case as well completely naked) breaking the scripted scenes they are within, this includes mods such as Saints and Seducers Ext Cut boss. It does seem to be (relatively) safe to uninstall mid game as I managed to finish the back end of my playthrough after disabling it (playing Vigilant last, no chance I was going to let this mod run with Vigilant after my experience) and I encountered no crashes, at least that could be traced back to killing npcs.
