By the divines... this SSE editor is a big fat insult to the community, I get literal HUNDREDS of bug reports when launching creation kit XD. What is this crap? For real Bethesda? Why do WE... have to mod and rework your editor, just to LAUNCH it? XDD fml. If they cant guarantee functionality, then they shouldnt release a creation kit like that! Is due to their update frenzy, Shors bones...

    Edit: This just works! :D

I have the newest version of Skyrim Anniversary + Creation Kit. I re-installed both as new games. Then I used the "drop it in" method, and it works well.

    Thank you! :D

Hey, first this fixed my issue. Second, I've been working for nine months on a massive mod/DLC expansion for Skyrim.

Third, I have a question about this solution you provided. So, I am on Skyrim Special Edition (v1.6.1170.0.8) and have been using the 'CreationKit 2' (v1.61120.0) and I ran into an issue where I could not load multiple master files anymore after Bethesda's most recent update adding the "_ResourcePack.esl". I added the "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1"line to the CreationKitPrefs.ini which is what I thought I did in the past, but
    it did not work anymore.

I was hoping you could enlighten me a little. What is the difference in
    "CreationKitPrefs.ini" and "CreationKitCustom.ini" and how
is that hooking into the game? Does the Creation Kit know to look for
    "CreationKitCustom.ini"?

I'm just confused why this worked and how. I really appreciate you! Thank
you for all your hard work, my friend!
