Hey man, in case you want the info 1) your normal map is useless, blacked? what happened to it, no idea 2) you have a unneeded alpha channel in your diffuse that doubles the size of your files for no reason. Removing the alpha and saving as dxt1 would be appropriate. You only need alpha channel if the mesh can support it with a NiAlphaProperty, which isn't the case here, cause simply its not needed. Dxt1 for no-alpha diffuse, Dxt5 for normal map with specular map in alpha channel.
Thank you Mathy I think what happened was I used GIMP, and sometimes it exports the image 1 pixel longer, which makes SE CTD. I opened, resized and saved back, maybe that's where I f***ed up. Since I lost the original paint.net files I lost any will to redo it tbh, I was between deleting it or sharing it. Even the wood texture is terrible lol. I have plans to release a pack with many small retextures reworked/fixed, this one will be included. Thanks for the feedback man
I used only the 4K N-file, which delivered a somewhat acceptable result - but looked very different to your screenshots e.g. the anvil had not dirt but a big black blob on top. Anyway, thumbs up for the effort.. Having checked the colour file, i prefer first time ever the vanilla texture.
My personal highlights of the ElSopa story are still the (modified darkened) Whiterun roads, the Solstheim Bristleback, the Solstheim Urns and of course the Steel Plate Armour - all of those are absolutely brilliant stuff. Always great to see some of your stuff coming along. Thanks, mate.
