for anyone that can't get it to work for werewolves "Simple Werewolf Favourite Howls Menu" is a good alternative just gotta enable night vision in the mcm
Was also hoping for a solution here lol. The thermal effect works and is cool, but there is zero difference in the nightvision. I am using an ENB that supposedly maintains image spaces as well, but it's broked.
No, this mod is just finicky with new characters. Try disabling the mod, saving, quitting, and then re-enabling the mod.
Most of my new characters need to have this done at least once. It's kinda annoying, but the mod author has abandoned Skyrim in favor of doing Fallout lets plays.
okay I was just dealing with this problem. I just started a new file and now the spell doesn't work properly and I tried this solution and now it works I wish someone can release a patch that can resolve this I don't want to do this for every new character I create
This might be the cure to my problem. It wasn't working on my new character and even trying to enable the MOD so my character could have it, I could toggle one, but would have to come right out of the MODs and go back into toggle the next one.
Hmmm... Not sure where to start? OK. Got a new character. Female vampire. Neither the night vision or predator vision are working and what's weird when I toggle the give to character tabs, as soon as I click one, I have to come right out of the MOD list to go back and do anything else. But this is the weird part. On a previous Vampire, it is still working!
I used to use this mod all the time back in the day. It seems like Gopher has abandoned it long ago and now I can't get it working with the new update at all (I just came back to Skyrim). I've tried everything from the comments: un-enabling the mod, saving, re-enabling it, patches - none of it works. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck lately or maybe if somebody wants to fork it and update it somehow? I'd do it myself but I literally have no idea how or where to even start.
Did you try making your new character while the mod is disabled, then saving, loading the mod, and trying then? That seems to be fixing it for everyone else.
This doesn't work anymore. I can create the night eye potion but when I use it I can't activate it with the N key. I tried changing the hotkey for it but it didn't work.
If you also use Better Vampires, make sure Predator Vision loads after Better Vampires. I viewed my entire load order using SSEdit and it shows that Better Vampires overwrites Predator Vision
Use LOOT to make this change by running LOOT, then right clicking on Predator Vision, selecting "Edit Metadata", then [Load After], [Add new row], enter in "Better Vampires" and then [Save].
That video explains everything in a such an understandable way, that is really, REALLY good! Thank you! Btw, in case the author of the mod really reads here, could you tell me what kind of accent you have? Is that Great Britain English? Scottish? Irlandish? Does that word exist? :-)
Gopher grew up in the UK, but has lived in Norway a long time. He grew up in the Manchester area, but spent about 10 years in Liverpool. So His accent is Manc with Scouse influences. That's why he rolls his 'r', which is a Scouse element, and not found in the Manc accent.

Edit: Fixed thanks to comment from Delathen
It was working perfectly. Then after starting a new game, it refuses to function, period. Even after reinstalling.
Sure, I've installed new mods but none of them would logically be conflicting with it, and MO2/LOOT/etc don't report anything.
I've had to remove it for now.

So, now my load order is Better Vampires (priority 433) and Predator Vision (priority 434).
I also use the Predator Vision Adaptive NV Fix
I use the NAT ENB too.

And of course: Thanks a lot for this mod!
