Help! I'm trying to figure out how to make it so women can use men's hairdos too - I play a character who, much like myself, prefers her hair short and practical.
I've spent the last couple days digging through SSEEdit and the Creation Kit because I'm not quite sure how to make a patch with this w/o editing the original mods, which I've heard is a MASSIVE no-no. If anyone could direct me to a video on this in particular, it'd be appreciated. I've watched Beth's series and a few other specifically on Xedit, I've just never modded before and am worried about unintentionally blowing up my damn game, lmao.
If you don't mind clipping, just open the .esp on the CK, then look for hairs under the headpart tab. Double click the head part u want to edit, tick unisex instead of male/female.
please let me know too if youve found a good patch . ive been looking for a way to unlock ks hairdos male version hairs for females but i dont want to mess up my files and do it myself because im not good with xEdit and alike . its scary
any chance of an update? there's some really awesome hairs in the KS update- and installing this mod somehow removes a lot of the newer hairstyles from KS, i think. i could be wrong about that.
Thank you for this mod! Now my male NPCs have finally completed their transition, there are no more real men in Skyrim SE, they are gone... forever! I posted some images to the user submitted section, just for anyone who is curious. My character is still male gendered in racemenu and the "naughty lab", but thanks to male bodyslide, some ridiculous voluptuous presets, your AWESOME hair mod and another KS wig mod, they (male population) have all transitioned. I know some people won't like this information, but there was only one male part that was worth saving...
Hey! so I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but for some reason the hairs aren't showing up for me 0: I went to edit my character bc the forehead part looked messed up Instead it was a base of some kind, same color the hair was before with none of the hairs showing. For the base game hairs, you could see that base clip through it
Hi! Sorry for the bother, but just wanted to check if there's any sight of an update? KS Hairdos got a new update again, with some really lovely hairs, and now I'm having such a hard time deciding between keeping this for the amazing long hairstyles for men, or opt for the amazing new hairstyles, for both men and women, in the new KS Hairdos update. I totally understand if there's not gonna be an update, because ofcourse life happens, just checking! :)
I just wanted to make sure I got this right but, do I install the KS Hairdos Renewal - merged plugin (female AND male) file in the KS Renewal mod? And then install this and override it? How do I override it if I install it manually?
I really recommend avoiding manual installation unless the mod author explicitly says that manual install is the only way to do it. Anyway, just install the files in KS mod page which at the moment are 2. Also, and this is super important, KS Renewal is the Old Skyrim version, if you're here it's safe to assume you're on Special Edition. If you are then what you need is this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6817?tab=files
Like I said, just install the two files (personally I don't like merging files, so I just renamed them) and then download and install this one. For the sake of making sure it works make sure THIS mod is placed lower than KS's mod and you should be good to go. Hope that helped even though this was posted a few days ago.
