When moving using a joystick the mouse Y axis is way higher than when standing still. Both X and Y are even when using the mouse to look around until I start using a joystick, have I done something wrong?
I love this mod, but I was frustrated to learn that it does not fix the sensitivity change when you are casting spells. I figured out how to fix this myself in SEEdit. If anyone else is looking to fix the casting sensitivity change I will provide a link that includes only this change from the original file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1519bgdPoAZa8vamIVdqZ-nCbxz9_dOI9/view?usp=sharing
For reference I looked at how the mod creator changed his files and copied the same layout to the movement types NPC_Magic_MT and NPC_MagicCasting_MT. I did both because I wasn't sure which one. It appears to work with no issues or side effects so far.
Also I apologize if I am not allowed to post links here. Please let me know if this is an issue and I will remove it ASAP. Enjoy! :)
its funny. I just played 30 hours of a mage playthrough with this consistent sensitivity mod seemingly working fine with spells. I decide to mess around with the load order of my mods and all of a sudden consistent sensitivity stops working on my mage. Thanks for this fix dude because for me, Skyrim is very much unplayable without this mod and I was minutes from giving up on the playthrough before i checked the posts section.
Omg. You sir, are a legend. I had been having issues with the sensitivity when casting spells for ages and could never find a fix. No matter which mod or setting I tried, it didn't seem to work. Now finally someone has the solution to my problem. Thanks a bunch! (This file also works on Skyrim LE btw)
Werewolf sprint is done the same way. The entry is WerewolfBeastSprint_MT and by default seems to have values of 45 for rotate in place walk and rotate in place run, and 22.5 for rotate while moving run, while the mod sets all three values to 180.
the werewolf patch you said doesn't work. no matter what i try whenever i add the werewolf to consistent sensitivity i cant turn at all when sprinting...
I noticed that the sensitivity when you use the second rank of Steady Hand is still the lower vanilla sensitivity, do you know where on SSEdit i can change it?
Been using the raw input mod for Fallout 4 for a while, and it does a similar thing in how it tweaks sensitivity to be consistent.
And looking into what the mod actually changes gave me the neccesary information to know that dragons can not only run, but also walk while flying. (But now while hovering, which is a different "movement state"? Their speed is set to zero) And how movement speed is done in Skyrim.

And if there is a way to remove that horribly slow camera movement while attacking, does someone know how to do that?
EDIT: fixed by downgrading the game.

It can be safely compacted into an ESL as well.

are we just a RARE kind that like EQUAL values for our X and Y axis values???
I love this, thank you so much :D
Open SSEdit and load your plugins.
In your plugins list, go to "consistent sensitivity.esp/Movement Type".
Click on "NPC_BowDrawn_MT", and on the right side look for "Rotate in Place Run" and "Rotate while Moving Run".
To the right of them, change both the values of 180.0000 to a number from 90.0000-180.0000 (closer to 90.0000, the slower the sens while aiming).
Remember to save your changes.
(I'm thinking this would work for changing the other sensitivities, and I haven't tried going below 90.0000)
