Everything can and will be changed in the development process
Did you know that the DLC Dawnguard has no songs besides some ambient tracks? There's only 1 real song, that is veeeery ambient as well. There are hints in the data files of Skyrim for boss combat songs, but for whatever reasons they were not created. And Dawnguard is such an amazing DLC, so what can we do?
We create a music addon for Dawnguard ourself.
The plan is to create some dedicated Dawnguard tracks for Fort Dawnguard, Volkihar Keep, Soulcairn, Forgotten Vale, including soundclips and a combat track for the final boss fight and even a theme song for Serana. That would be cool, am I right? No?

This is a quick and easy tutorial to create merge patches for music mods using SSEEdit.
There are more ways than this to create these patches. This is just the way how I've learned it.
This tutorial is about creating merge patches for The Elder Songs, but will work with any music mod out here if you adapt this tutorial to your own plugins.
Let's go
1. Go to https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164 and download & install SSEEdit.
2. Launch SSEEdit
3. A quick message from the developer will appear. Read it! If you like the tool and you're able to support the mod author do it! They deserve it.
