Ahh the dreadded "gray face" or in SE it better resembles "black face". Simply go into the Creation kit. Select Skyrim.esm as your master and this mod as your "active" file. type her name in the Search box (assuming the author named her Jette in the creation kit) now make sure the race is selected as "Nordrace". Click Ok on the config box for her and finally go to file "Save and push plugin to PC". MAKE SURE SKYRIM IS NOT RUNNING WHEN YOU ARE DOING THIS!!
This bug occurs when the Mesh information is not present in the Data/Mesh directory. Same thing if you ever want to make your wife or someone a TRUE vampire follower without the black face.
I just saw her and she was black faced. Having never opened the CK I've no desire to do so now and try to figure all this out. Is there another way to get her face fixed?
Hey Bedevere, I loved using this mod in my Oldrim gam playthroughs. Great follower! I noticed you have now made her be a Housecarl. What are you exactly meaning by this? Does she operate with the buildable Hearthfire homes exactly like a Steward if you bring her there?
I like the concept of this. I'm right there with you on my disappointment about not being able to marry Annekke.
It seems like Jette uses Lydia's dialogue. I'm using Alternate Start mod, and when I went to Whiterun (I skipped the opening Helgen sequence and the main quest hasn't started), Jette walks up to me straight away and says "Hail, Thane!". My dialogue options with her include the "What's a Thane" questions for Lydia as well. Not game-breaking, just wanted to inform.
She is a little closer to her proper age now. I don't use any improvement mods so she looks like an attractive woman who spends a a lot of time in the weather and a guard house, which seems pretty spot on.
