Don't use this whatever you do. This pos mod caused all kinds of problems with my game. I was using immersive creatures, and the MCM menu with that mod was completely broken. Never could figure out why. Then I installed maskedrpgfan's MCM loader for immersive creatures, and suddenly enemy NPC's wouldn't attack anymore. After narrowing the problem down to immersive creatures and the MCM loader, it turns out it's this mod that is causing all the problems with Immersive creatures and the MCM loader. Who knows what other problems this eslified FISS patch causes. It's not worth saving a plugin spot for all the problems this causes. I Deleted this turd, and now my 1200 mods are working nicely together again! Save yourself the headache, and avoid this mod.
To sum up the other comments about compatibility, this patch will NOT function with certain FISS-enabled mods, because those mods can't properly detect the plugin anymore. This can be fixed manually and could even be addressed by the mod authors at some point in the future (though it's very unlikely), but if you're having issues, your best bet is to uninstall this patch and use the normal FISSES .esp file.
Thank you this fixed the problem of AMOT causing CTD whenever I click on "presets" I'm not sure what went wrong with my FISSE since I didn't really do anything prior the CTDs.
This works fine with some mods and completely breaks compatibility with others. AMOT (as the screenshot demonstrates) and moreHUD work without issues, but Timing is Everything completely misses its FISS component with this installed (Thieves Guild Requirements probably has the same issue but I don't use a profile with this)
This file doesn't conflict with any of these mods in MO2, only overwriting the original FISSES mod.
I'm unsure if this is related to any "updates" but (now it starts :P) I'm currently modding and installed this ESLified patch immediately after installing FISS and was starting to get pissed off so many mods didn't seem to have FISS-support..
then I installed Timing is Everything (SE ofc) which had a FISS-supported version (or so was advertised) - so I was really annoyed when I didn't see FISS options ingame.. After a lil digging thru the mods I installed I tried putting the ESLified patch off and tadaa FISS in Timing is Everything at least.. (still gotta check others more now.. :P).
Soo to loop back, I'm not a modder.. unsure buuut it might seem to have some relation? :D - Still looking forward to an updated version, any ESP less is 1 more mod or at least 1 less to Merge xD
getModByName doesn't support esp-fe plugins and will fail. Likely there are quite a few other mods that do the same thing. Its not particularly difficult to change this line and recompile their scripts, but the mods aren't going to work out of the box. A little discussion here; https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7404191-getmodbyname-and-getmodname-and-esl-flagged-plugins/
Usually I would agree that you shouldn't overwrite it because it possibly could break your save but in that case, it doesn't, I tested it several times and it works regardless.

should this work? or will I need to do it myself?
A new game is required.

int hasFiss = game.getModByName("FISS.esp")
If (0 < hasFiss && hasFiss < 255)
AddHeaderOption("<font color='#FFCC66'>$TIE_Presets</font>")
OID_LoadPreset = AddTextOption("$TIE_LoadPreset","")
OID_SavePreset = AddTextOption("$TIE_SaveCurrentSettings","")

However, you probably would want a warning in the description that people should absolutely not overwrite their FISSES mod on an existing save.
