Here is an updated version of the mod: https://www.mediafire.com/file/nq9ve8t3fue78qu/SilverSwordCustomV1.2.esp/file
It's an ESP flagged as ESL
I'm too lazy to upload to Nexus. If anyone feels compelled be my guest. Silver Sword Revamped has open permissions.
Changes: - Added the Silver Greatsword tiers (with USSEP weapon speed) - Recipes for creating and tempering require Silver ingredients now - Balanced the stats a bit to make the swords more on par with their glass/dwarven/etc. counterpart .This mainly had to do with increasing the weight of the swords (increased weight also means more stamina used per swing)
I haven't extensively tested. Let me know if any bugs come up.
I don't have this file on my computer anymore, sorry. I think I ditched it because of balance reasons and that most smithing overhauls add temper recipes for the Silver Sword, making them viable for longer.
Question! What mod are you using to change the silver sword's size proportions? In your pictures to blade appears to be longer and the cross guard shorter. Much better than the vanilla look!
Edit: ...found it... its the most popular weapons mod for the game... I'm smart.
Ohh god, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm over exited! An upgradable silver sword. This suits very nicely with spoa silver knight armor mod. Thank you!

Meaning if you wanted to craft the silver sword that has the same damage as the ebony sword. You would be required to have all the materials and perks that would normally require and ebony sword to be crafted. I didn't want to put silver for all of the requirements because then it would be to easy to craft. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.
Silver would still make sense as one of the components...sort of like a silver coating (or silver is the base or an alloyed silver-other material). Otherwise, it's just the other sword with a silver model.
Would have no real mechanical effect (other than consuming some silver crafting materials), and this, as is, certainly achieves your desired goal...but would certainly provide a more immersive feel to crafting a silver-looking and named weapon that actually uses silver.
Yes they are, I did not change that at all. All I did was remove the text for it so when you do enchant the weapon it will properly show the enchantment you have on the weapon.

You are absolutely correct about that, it's something I did not think about when I was creating this mod. If I ever do a revision don the road it is something that I will change to the crafting and temper recipes.
So you basically just changed the stats, so if I use a silver sword texture replacer mod it should work with this, correct? The silver sword really needed some love.
Yeah! OH YEAH! I just answered my own question alright! Now the silver sword is good. Very good. Very very good indeed. Thanks for this great job works perfectly!. Endorsed! I am using it with the "Witcher silver sword" replacer and it looks as good as it's stats now.

This is exactly what I meant.

Thank you for the suggestion
