Love the look of this outdoors my only gripe is that it is WAY too dark indoors, especially in dungeons. I'm literally forced to walk around with a torch.
Yes, you are right. The lighting effect is too dark in dungeons. The contrast and saturation of lanterns and torch are overdone. The colour is too dim so the lanterns seemed to be useless. It is hard for me to walk around at night even bringing with a torch too.
Luckily, I found a solution to this problem by changing the enbseries.ini Here is my solution: 1.BACKUP your enbseries.ini (just in case some problems exists, you can recover it) 2.Open enbseries.ini and change the following settings: DirectLightingIntensityNight=0.2 change to 1.0 DirectLightingIntensityInteriorNight=0.3 change to 1.2 DirectLightingCurveNight=1.2 change to 2.4 AmbientLightingIntensityNight=0.5 change to 2.0 PointLightingIntensityNight=0.4 change to 2.0 PointLightingCurveNight=1.0 change to 0.2 3. Save and open game to see the differeces
I think it is much better than the original mod setting The brightness of lanterns is much clear and bright (the colour is changed from "orange" to "white"), no more dim light :)
In addition, if you find that the cities and villages are still too dark at night, you may install a mod which called Lanterns of Skyrim SE. This mod will place more lanterns in different cities and villages so that you can walk around more easily at night.

Sorry for my poor English, I hope you know what I am telling about and the solutions above can really help you.
For those of you who are just wondering if reshade just won't load the texture and effect of the preset, I just wanted to tell you that this preset is different from the others. When i press shift+f2, my computer doesn't find the texture and effect of the preset. So I am unable to load the default, this is because the setting options in the reshade control interface, the textures address and the effect address has a problem, you should change it to such as: H: \ Skyrim Special Edition \ reshade - shaders \ shaders and H: \ Skyrim Special Edition \ reshade - shaders \ Textures ,and now your home option will show you the preset options. I am a Chinese, my English is not good, but I hope it can help you.
The enb effect is amazing in outdoor or indoor. Only it is too bright (glare exists) for me to open the world map and books in the game How can I adjust it to the normal brightness? As it is too bright and uncomfortable for me to read the maps and books.
Sorry for my poor English, I hope you can understand what I am telling about. Thank you
