    Hi,
Wyrmstooth signs are corrects they dont need a fix, I'm speaking of the last 3/4 versions, currently 1.18.
Probably you were using a meshes and/or textures replacer which interfering between them and/or wyrmstooth creating the issue.
Anyway the fix isnt really useless, 1st because for sure it avoid the problem you stepped in, and 2nd because it help about customizing wyrmstooth signs both meshes and textures.

Is this still needed with the new version of wyrmstooth?

That's what I'm using, so yes.

That said, I still haven't had anyone else confirm the problem. But then again, why would anyone be downloading the mod if they didn't have the issue?

Try it out and see. You'll know right off the boat--there's a sign right outside the fort on the way to the mining town.

Simply add this fix if it's broken.

If you do, please come back and let me know one way or the other.

EDIT--Yeah, just fought the Valedrynn, a kind of 'storm wisp.' So I believe it's the latest version.

      Thanks,

I thought it might be SMIM or Point the Way, because those are the only mods I have that might change signs, but I couldn't confirm either way.

I just knew I wouldn't be able to play with them as is, so I opened the CK to see what was up, and discovered the textures weren't configured properly with the vanilla mesh used (Markarth road sign.) So I mapped the textures properly in Nifscope, then created new meshes for each WT sign type.

EDIT--I do use a mod that retextures the signs, can't remember which one, atm, but I don't think that's the issue.

      BTW--Do you have this problem?

Not sure! I have wyrmstooth installed but never visited it before.

But I do use SMIM and point the way and HD road signs.

I did see someone mention something similar in the comments section here though.

It's good to see someone else confirm having the problem (in that comment on Luxor's Weathered HD Road Signs), but at this point I'm leaning towards it being an issue that popped up when Wyrmstooth was ported to SE, and it might not be a mod conflict at all.

The Inn sign in Bruma needs a patch with SMIM--

I'm pretty sure I'm using the above, or I ported one from LE, I can't remember. I have a long mod list...
