1.1 works properly as far as I know. Some people have pointed out a bug that brings back the first time conversation... can't exactly fix it right now but seems to be just a minor bug.
On a side note, user Wolfgoldenspear has shared with me in the comments that you can use the Porter Riekling model as a replacer for Reeky. However, I don't have permission to use the model, so I can't offer support. If you want to do it, you will need to swap the model yourself and deal with any problem you come across (there shouldn't be any problem though).

Tracking for now, seems like an interesting Follower. Reminds me of that Slave Pack Riekling Mod, maybe you could see about getting a custom model for Reeky like that one? Obviously not identical, but maybe a backpack to carry loot in? As for a mount, I think a Bristleback Boar would be best, since I imagine it should be possible to use the in-game model of a Riekling rider? I'm not too familiar on how mounts in-game work. Perhaps Lucien or Kaidan or Auri's authors could assist you? (Also if you could get some dialogue going with them, that would be amazing XD.)
Hey, there. Thank you for the comment. Those are exactly the steps I have in mind for the next update :D I'm actually trying to figure out the boar mount right now. Dialogue with other followers will be the next objective :)
You can use the model from the porter mod, just have to finagle a bit with the race and stuff. I know the porter mod has been ported to SSE, but I hear it has many issues, so thank you to Sebngarde for this one.
Interesting! I suppose it's just a simple model swap so everything should work. That model looks really nice! However, I can't offer support for that since I haven't received permission to use the model. But thanks for sharing! I'll add that to my pinned comment in case anybody wants to know.
Love this mod. Reeky's a weird but fun companion to have around. My only issues are that his voice is a little low and he sometimes forgets who I am and initiates the conversation you have when you first meet him. It's not really an issue, but it makes it seem like Reeky and my character both have memory problems lol. Hope you're doing alright on your break and that you're able to come back and continue modding in the future!

About that bug you are mentioning, that didn't happen in my testing. In fact, the first conversation should be set to "say only once", so that bug shouldn't be happening... I will look into it.
Are you using any follower mod like AFT to control him? Those mods sometimes break independent followers like Reeky.
I use EFF but I always recruit Reeky using his dialogue. Everything else works fine. It's just that he sometimes uses the first conversation when I talk to him. Backing out and talking to him again usually fixes it.
You might need to generate a seq file. I only just found out you can have issues with repeating dialogues if you don't pair one with a mod that has it.

Hi. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think so. Since I can not port it backwards, I'd had to redo all the work and I don't think I'll be able to anytime soon.
Thank you! I'm taking a brake due to everything that's going on in the world keeping me busy, but I plan to continue updating. There's so many things I want to do with this follower :)
This follower mod's awesome! Is there a way to make Reeky ride a mount? I have an Armoured Bristleback from the Dragonborn Mount and Followers mod and would love to see him ride one of those instead of running after me on our travels. Also is there a way to make his home also my character's home since he claims we are "family" :)
Riding is something I had in mind and still haven't figured out. I will add a mounting feature as soon as I get it working.
As for the house, it's marked as player owned and you can move in with him if you want. There's a bed and some containers you can safely use. So you don't need to do anything. Just move in anytime :) It may be a little small for 2 people though...
I haven't tested it, and I didn't think about it either. It might cause issues... I've never used MHIYH myself, so I don't know much about how that mod works.
Save the game and reload. Might be a common bug with the game itself if I'm not mistaken. If that doesn't fix it, try moving the mod lower in your load order in case something is conflicting (which is very unlikely).
Inigo was my inspiration and I'd love to do some work with SmartBlueCat. Maybe someday :) Still, Reeky still has a long way to go to be comparable with Inigo, so, maybe when I have more experience and knowledge, we can come up with something :)
