FAST frickin install for me, I was just thinking about how disappointing it was to unlock chests and open boss boxes because it's so frequently just garbage loot.
I just set up my mod list over the weekend and forgot to add this until the end, but it absolutely wont work so far. I tried reinstalling, I made a bash patch on wrye bash, I am looking at it in xEdit but I honestly dont know how it works. Can anyone point me in the right direction
i've never had an issue, i use loot and it works from start. If you are trying to use it on a save, that's probably the issue. I don't think you can change levelled lists on a character already in progress, so you need to start a new game. If that doesn't work, you might have a mod that affects the levelled lists already so it's conflicting with something else in your LO.
Its fine if you make a Less Populated Rebalanced Leveled Lists but dont dumb down what this mod is, because some people have to hoard every item they find and complain when they leave with 800lbs worth of gear. I take what I need. I dont need to sell every potion and every silver ring I find in the game. I'll wait till I find something cool and take that...
Plus, its a freaking boss chest? What, is only the dragonborn the only person in the history of skyrim, to have a chest full of magical items and potions? These are boss chests... What kind of "boss" has Iron Gauntness, 40 gold, a scroll, and (2) lockpicks stored away in their master treasury room. Their whole lifes work, bandit or otherwise, is stored in that chest. These are supposed to be the bosses most prized possessions. I dont think an Iron Dagger of Damage Stamina is the peak of his success...
Loot related to their role is important too.
Bandit Chiefs 3-4 Magic Items - Tagged as stolen 200-1000 gold 8-12 poclpicks 4-8 Moon Sugar and Skooma Light Armor with Muffle chance.
Not in my current AE v1.6.353 load order (1000+ plugins). Been using them together since Nov. 2020. LOOT sorted this after that one. No MO2 conflict, no WryeBash error, no CTD either.
Hi evittalex, looking at edits in main Esp, not Lite. LItemArmorHelmetHeavy [LVLI:00016740] there is Stalhrim Helmet for levels 32 and 18. I think you probably wanted Nordic Carved Helmet at lvl 18 comparing to other edits.
don't know if this is possible but i uninstalled this mod and started a new game, yet the chests still had a crap ton of loot as if the mod was still installed, i've been tearing my hair out trying to find out the problem and i can only trace it back to this mod.
I had a feeling that was the case but even deleting my bashed patch and rebuilding it still had the same effect, i wonder if there's a way to just completely erase the bashed patch "memory" so it doesn't get integrated into the bashed patch when the mod is uninstalled.
I love this mod, but I feel that chests can sometimes give a bit too much loot. Does anyone know how I would lower the number of items I'd receive from chests? I don't want to eliminate any of the specific items I could receive; I just want to receive less of them at one time.
This was my though too. Cleared a "Dungeon" that was like, 3 spriggans and a bear, the last chest gave me like, 4 enchanted weapsns, 6 armor peices, and a f*#@ ton of other stuff. Honestly doesn't feel balanced at all.
I ended up converting an old LE mod that I found to work with SE. After also patching it to work with the DLCs (since it came out before Dawnguard and Dragonborn; it's really old) it does exactly what I want: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9335

Unfortunately, I'm not able to post the mod on the Nexus. The mod author permissions state that I can't upload without his permission, and he hasn't been active since 2012. If you know how to use SSEEdit, though, you can manually copy the numbers in the mod over to the Dragonborn/Dawnguard chests to have it work for the DLCs.
unfortunately the only things i know how to do are edit lines and numbers of some mods where i can and i know what i'm doing, but like patch or convert mod to SE never done. I'll see what I can do with your suggestion and if I can get there by logic xD
I'm using this and Diverse Dragons and dragon loot does not seem to be buffed. All other sources are doing what they should with loot. Has anyone else seen issues like this? Do I need to make sure this is before or after Diverse Dragons in the load order?
Got the same problem. Everything works just fine but the dragons (default ones and from diverse dragons collection) dont show up the right loot table. Except they are supposed to just drop about 5 coins and bones. I also use immersive creatures of skyrim and scarcity but with all patches needed. Dont know where i messed up. If anyone got a clue or had experienced similar issues, i would be gladful if you guys let us know
I’m trying to edit this mod for personal use and am having trouble producing results. I want to reset the Bandit boss chests so that they no longer drop Dragonborn DLC loot (netch leather, alchemy ingredients, etc) outside Solstheim. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to change the leveled lists to do this?
I’ve come here to scroll through the comments to find out exactly this as well, as I’ve had this running for a few days now and I’m not too keen on so much Bonemold armour on Bandits in Skyrim. Feels slightly out of place and would like to remove this if possible.
So, anyone out there that reads these comments and has the ‘know how’, please share!

ive used MLU for a long time now, and that’s does the job for me, bar the boss chests.
You can easily go into SSE edit to make these changes yourself. Just remove the items started with DLC2 from the leveled lists that this mod touches. That's where the Dragoborn loot comes from.
