About this mod
S'hani is a fully standalone follower: what you see is what you get. She has a custom glowing full body tattoo and custom Summon Familiar spell. UNP and CBBE versions available.

Be sure to also checkout GhostRdrTat's khajiit follower Ji'Faiha, based on S'hani's racemenu preset.
Think of S'hani as a "vanilla +" follower. She has a unique look, some custom spells, a simple AI package, a few lines of custom dialogue (not voice acted) and is on her own framework.
She should:
1) be compatible with your favorite follower management mod (e.g. AFT, Nether's)
2) get picked up and detected by other mods that affect followers
Note to CBBE Users:
-S'hani the Grey - CBBE- is exactly the same as her UNP version EXCEPT you will likely encounter errors with her glowing tattoo armor. I have configured her glow suit for CBBE so it works the same otherwise. The file is provided as is (I don't use CBBE personally, and have decided I don't like making clothes/armor from scratch).

Description:
-S'hani the Grey is a fully standalone Khajiit follower: what you see in the images is what she'll look like in your game.
-She comes with a custom glowing tattoo "armor" that the player can give her to equip. S'hani has a non-glowing full body tattoo at all times; the glowing tattoo overlaps the non-glowing tattoo.
-S'hani has a custom Summon Familiar spell (she summons a sabre cat!), and specializes in Shock spells.
-She is on her own follower framework so she won't affect your follower count. Don't worry, she's compatible with most follower management mods (e.g. AFT, EFF, Nether's...) just be sure to "import" or "add" her to those management mods.
-S'hani has a simple AI package that let's her "live" in Riften: she sleeps at Haelga's bunkhouse, has breakfast and dinner at the Bee and Barb, and likes to go check out the market in the afternoons.
-S'hani has some custom dialogue lines (currently no voice acting). Be sure to play with subtitles turned on!
Technical Details:
-S'hani's glowing tattoos are individual pieces of armor for her feet, hands and torso. They occupy body slots 44, 45 and 60, respectively. The glowing tattoo armor should overlap on top of her full body tattoo, which is present at all times, so you don't see the regular body tattoo underneath. If you're a screen archer and look really close, you'll probably find a few places where the glowing tattoo doesn't perfectly sit on top of of her non-glowing tattoos.
-Because S'hani's glowing tattoos are equipable armor this means some mod added armor/clothes will be incompatible: experiment to see what you can do!
-S'hani's glowing tattoos are fitted to the standard UNP & CBBE _0 & _1 body meshes. Any armor/clothes that don't use those same body shapes will likely cause clipping issues with the glowing tattoo armor (e.g. you may see the glowing tattoos clipping through the armor/clothes, or you may see "dead spots" on the tattoos where there is no glow: the modded armor/clothes increased the size of S'hani's body and her tattoos are underneath her skin layer).
-S'hani belongs to the "Potential Follower" faction: any mods that affect, detect, or add content for NPCs in that faction will also affect S'hani.
-S'hani has a weight of "100": this wasn't my first choice but I found that putting her weight to max gave her glowing tattoos the most compatibility with other clothing/armor mods.
Recommended Clothing and Armor Mods:
Due to S'hani's glowing tattoo armor, here's a short list of mods I've tried out with her that, for the most part, fit well with little to no clipping issues (all UNP):
UNP Body Fit Armors and Clothing by Shiva182 (NOTE: These armor/clothes fit S'hani great!)
The Book of UUNP by gamefever (NOTE: high variance in the armors provided; some fit great others not so much, experiment)
Most of DeserterX's UNP mods fit fairly well. Experienced some clipping with armor/clothes that go over forearms and legs.
FAQ:
Q. Where can I find S'hani?
A. She can be found living in Riften. She sleeps at Haelga's Bunkhouse, eats at the Bee and Barb, and likes to stroll around the outdoor market.
Q. I found S'hani be her tattoos are not glowing. How do I get her to glow?
A. Try taking the glowing tattoo armor from her inventory, and giving it back to her. She should automatically equip it unless there is another mod-armor/clothing taking up the same armor slot.
Q. I don't like the glowing effect.
A. Then take away the glowing tattoo armor.
Q. Can I marry S'hani?
A. Possibly? I believe Relationship Dialogue Overhaul (RDO) enables marrying female Khajiits but I haven't tested this.
Q. I see multiple "Follow me. I need your help." type of dialogue options to recruit S'hani. What's going on and which do I use?
A. You're seeing other mods pick up and detect S'hani as a potential follower. It is perfectly safe to use those other mods to recruit S'hani; she doesn't have a special custom AI that can be broken (i.e. like Inigo or Lucien). If you want to use the recruit option that I've made for S'hani you should select the option: "Good to see you again, S'hani. Are you ready for another adventure?"

-If you want to make any changes/adjustments to S'hani please contact me first for permission. You will need to get permission from the other mesh/texture artists if you plan on re-uploading those files.
-If you want to fix-up the CBBE version of S'hani so her glow suit will re-shape itself to the player's body preset, go ahead. You have my permission to do so, can earn donation points, etc. Please just credit me as the original author, and be sure to get permission from the other mesh/texture artists if you are re-uploading those files.
