Great idea, but its a bit outside of the scope of this mod.
I'm sure there are lots of customizable enemy spawners here on the Nexus.

Hello, I wanted to say that the hardcore version of this mod is exactly what I was looking for, other mods that add constant damage usually do it their own way so they are not compatible with the mod that makes it so you don't get sunlight weakness when using clothes

Sadly I'm currently using Sacrosanct and it looks like the hardcore version does not have a Sacrosanct patch

I'm still gonna try to see if it works when I can but if it doesn't, would you be willing to create a Sacrosanct path for the hardcore version?

Also how much damage per second does the hardcore version deals?

    Thank you

      Hi Dyrohc,

Thank you for the nice comment!

The hardcore version does indeed need a patch for it to function properly, but mainly because sacrosanct changes some names of effects, so technically it should still function.
I will start with a Hardcore + Sacrosanct patch as soon as I have time!

The Hardcore version does 1 Damage to Health per Second, so it is a constant damage that wouldn't be lethal directly, but mainly negatively effect you constantly.
I've tried with some higher values, but found it mainly becoming frustrating to play, but I do do requests ;)

      Cheers,
      Misorian

Not sure why because I am loading it after Sacrosanct but the mod does not work for me. Maybe something else in interfering with it.

Are you using the "Sacrosanct Patch" version of the mod?
And are you using other mods that change the weakness to sunlight spell?

I will look into this when I have the free time again! Thanks for the report!!
      Cheers

I'd love to have a no debuff version that is Sacrosanct compatible.

I'm enjoying the vampire overhaul, but the sunlight thing is just too bothersome. Even just having normal regen would be fine. I would totally accept the stat loss.

      Hi OnyxShadow,

Thanks for the comment, I'll look into this request, it shouldn't be much work.
However I've not played Skyrim for sometime, so I'll need to setup my modding tools etc.

      To double check, you want a version;
       - Compatible with Sacrosanct
       - 100% Health, Stamina and Magicka Regeneration, during day-time. (i.e. Default "Non-Vampire" behavior)
       - Health, Stamina and Magicka Debuff, during day-time;
Stage 1: Weakness to Sunlight: -15 pts
Stage 2: Weakness to Sunlight: -30 pts
Stage 3: Weakness to Sunlight: -45 pts
Stage 4: Weakness to Sunlight: -60 pts

      Correct?

      Cheer,
      Misorian

      Hi Rymoon,

There are some other mods on the nexus that completely remove Weakness to Sunlight.
It's not really the scope of this mod, my ideas are to keep a Weakness but tweak the conditions and effects.

Hope you can find the mod you are looking for!

      Edit 1
I think I found the mod you are looking for?

This doesn't seem to work with Scion. I've added your mod mid-game and started a brand new character but the regeneration in sunlight isn't working. I've changed my vampire stage by waiting, changed it by feeding, transformed into a Vampire Lord and back, waited several days, changed cells, etc. Nothing seems to be able to make the regeneration work. Any chance you could investigate that and make a patch?

Edit - Figured it out. For some reason, Scion changes the Actor Value on VampireAbDamageHealRate, VampireAbDamageMagickaRate and VampireAbDamageStaminaRate from "Heal/Magicka/Stamina Rate Mult" to "Heal/Magicka/Stamina Rate". Reverting these back to the Rate Mult counterparts allows the Vampires Bane mod to work.

      Hi Whickus,

      Thanks for the heads-up!
I do wonder if this issue would be resolved by load-order, i.e. loading my mod after the Scion mod.
And do I understand that a patch is needed or is it fixed?

Thanks again for the detailed explanation!
      Cheers,

Thank you for letting me know!

I'll update the info under the "compatibility" section.
If you do find some incompatibly error later, do let me know!

      Cheers!

You're my new best friend and I love you. This is exactly what I was looking for. No other single mod that I've found seems to be able to give me this. With my sky textures and enb settings and what have you, 5am is usually still very much night. So I'm looking up at stars and nebulae and taking sun de-buffs which isn't very immersive (particularly the intrusive sound, effect, and message that pop up.

Mod does exactly what it says, thanks bunches! It was so annoying getting debuffed at 5 AM when the sun even wasn't out. This mod is essential IMO.

The Sacrosanct patch doesn't work anymore (and yes, I made sure to only install the Sacrosanct edition, and to load it after Sacrosanct).

      *Edit 2*
I can't seem to find a problem with the mod, as you said you installed the Sacrosanct Edition and loaded it after Sacrosanct, it should work™

      *Edit*
I've got Skyrim SE up and running again. So my modding endeavours will continue.
Currently still running the v1.5.97 (not the AE v1.6.318)
I'll see if I can patch the mod!

      Thanks for the heads-up!
I only recently got my PC back, so I'll need some time setting up all the tools to fix this problem.

      Hi Gamerguy757!

I haven't been modding for some time now (As you can see from the time it took me to reply)
      I do like the idea!

If I understand correctly, you want a hardcore mode where your character suffers from:
      -50 point on Stats
      -5HP damage per seconds
      and -50% Health regen
      during daytime 7h - 19h (or 7am - 7pm)?

I'll see what I can do! I'll PM you when it ready and will reply on this commen!
      Thanks for the suggestion!
      Cheers,
      Misorian

      Almost!
Being a vampire in the sun should be extremely dangerous.
      Take 5dps to health
50 point reduction to all stats
      Halt all regen

      Thanks for clarifying!

The first Alpha version of the Hardcore Edition is now Online.
I still need to test and complete this version, but it is a prove-of-concept.

Only the first stage of Vampirism has all the negative effects, to test if it works correctly.
Any testing help would be appreciated!

      Cheers!
