    Why does LOOT keep saying:

    "ELFX - Exteriors.esp
    Update Patch available: ELFX - Exteriors Fixes"

    I come here and install it with MO2... it's there... it's loaded... and LOOT keeps saying the same damn thing?

      I have exactly the same issue, I even managed all my group settings for LOOT but it keeps there, sticked, a non-influencable oddity in the whole sorting...

      Loot is probably not updated or there is simply an error in its database, which wouldn't surprise me at all

      EDIT: Deleted what I had here before as I completely uninstalled this fix, and reinstalled ELFX to try and fix my DynDoloD issue to no avail. But I did find that when I got that warning with LOOT, the second I installed the ENB version of the fix the warning went away. I'm assuming LOOT has updated its lists with only the ENB version of this fix, rather than both the updated non ENB and ENB sets.

      Removed ENB version and reinstalled normal version without the LOOT warning returning. Seems as though loot just gets confused.

    I'm having an issue with running DynDolod with the Exteriors Fix.

    It seems that it keeps throwing an error where it says that Exteriors.esp is the incorrect file or incompatible, however i'm using both the newest version of this patch, and the newest release of ELFX from the NM page.

    This is the error from the log. Any ideas would be appreciated!

    EDIT: The error does not occur with the fix uninstalled. Will test viability of patching the ELFX mod manually with the files from this fix.

    Edit2: Patching this mod manually DOES NOT fix the problem. It seemed to work at first, but on a secondary dyndolod run, after running ENB injection, the error returns. I am currently doing a retest of ELFX with ENB injection again. It worked earlier, but now I'm wondering if something else is breaking ELFX in the background.

    Edit3: found where you said to use just this patch and not the main plugin with the mod. I'll attempt that as I don't remember if I tested that already, though I'd think manually patching would have done the same thing, but I digress. Should have looked further in the posts.

    Edit4: Unchecking exteriors from base installation and only running this fix does not fix the error for me. Both the one posted here, and each gotten after are identical. Attempted with both the ENB version(as I run ENB) and the Non-ENB version, both throw back the same error through DynDOLOD.

    idk where to start. i got a new pc last week and its taken me all this time to get the skyrim version converted to 1.5.97, after spending the last 5 years making a personal mod list and now trying to recreate it (500+ mods) im only at 408 currently. i havent had this issue previously and like i said not knowing where to start as there are few mods i have that affect the wood textures in the braziers (ex. the ones surrounding riverwood) but the logs themselves are purple. i know that means i have a texture issue but im not sure which mod is doing that, because it used to not be and issue with the same mods i have now. i am not asking someone to figure out this issue for me, i just dont know where to start. and help would be greatly appreciated. i will continue to look into this myself. in game i disabled the logs in the brazier and made sure i had the right id, and put it into ssedit and it was tied to this mod. specifically the exteriors.esp "FXfireWithEmbersLogs01"


    edit: i use smim, embers xd, kd realistic fireplaces v3, inferno, elfx, elfx ext fixes, and yes the embers fireplace inferno patch. thats it

      the simplest and best thing you can do is just use Emvrs XD, problem solved and of course ELFX since everything about it has nothing to do with logs textures

    I disabled the ENB, but this mod keep the light so bright, so I disable this :(

      ELFX doesn't cause anything like this, the problem lies in your load order

    I uninstalled the mod because I don't use ELFX anymore, but now Solitude's window textures are missing. How do I fix them?

    I'm trying to find a fix for an elfx exterior problem. The college of winterhold just loses all lights, the light source is still there, a ball of magic, but doesn't emit light until I wait 1 hour. This doesn't just happen immediately either, the lights will emit out of the light source and then all of a sudden just turns off, with waiting 1 hour fixing it.

    rebuilt skyrim after the update
    I am running the ENB Version, with enb 499, I had lamps but they were purple, reinstalled SMIM and they just disappeared, now no lamps or external lighting
    I have verified the Exterior esp is loading

    Any help would be appreciated

    The light from the candles in the tavern in riften is quite dim, in simple words one solid darkness. It's the same in the Jarl's fortress. Is this a problem of ELFX itself or not all is not yet fixed?

      The tavern in Riften is unbearably dark, to say the least. The only source of light is the window at the main entrance and the stove. Is that normal?

      no, it isn't normal, your problem can depend on many factors, incorrect load order, ENB preset not suitable for ELFX, certain incorrect INI settings
