Hey everyone, version 2.0 is here! I finally found some time to work on this update. Basically everything is reworked in this version, with high quality cleaned textures, hours of adjusting colors to match the original look of the mod, new bark options, new shrubs and of course one of the most impactful improvements, new saplings featuring models from the amazing Aspens Ablaze mod wich Mindflux kindly gave permission to use. Everything saved in BC7 format, with 4K and 2K options provided along with the new FOMOD installer where you can choose and combine different options to your taste. Like before, 2 different seasons are available, spring and autumn, with equal weight given to both of them with variations in the leaves and barks for each tree
The new version comes with new optimised 3D Dyndolod models and textures for use with Dyndolod 3. Billboards are no longer needed as Dyndolod 3 now creates billboards automatically, and besides that, this mod provides 3D assets for the trees so no billboards are required.
As long as the folder path remains the same as the base game, you can just load what you want to see in game after other mods and only the last mesh or texture loaded will be seen in game.
It doesn't make any difference if you enable it or not because the aspen trees will be completely overwritten by my mod if you load it after EVT. Since you are planning to use both mods together, it's best to NOT enable it to avoid problems with lod generation.
Not missing, they just don't exist. There is no reason to have textures with these exact names if the meshes are not mapped to them.. Did you get an error somewhere?
Hmm it looks like there are already 86 downloads and Nexus tells me you have already downloaded the file so I'm guessing it's ok now? Sometimes it takes some time for the servers to catch up when something new is uploaded.
I'm actually getting the same error. Had it last night trying to download the update, thought nexus was just being funny. Tried again today with the new(er) update and it's still giving the error.
I tried re-packing the file and giving it a "new" name so it doesn't use the already uploaded file on the server and forces it to re upload it. Let's see how it goes now.. The funny thing is when I download it, it downloads just fine so I can't even troubleshoot this correctly. If this persists I will request help from the Nexus staff.
This particular screenshot is by user zangdar who is probably using rudy enb for cathedral weathers the zangdar edit version (his own). It can be found at the rudy end for cathedral weathers mod page at the download options.
Really really like these! kinda helps the vibe I'm going with on my late spring playthrough.
but All of the distant aspens now seem to be floating for me now, I went with the vanilla tree lod and when I turn that off its all the old orange aspens? idk if im dumb but idk what to do.
Pre made lods with outdated programs are bound to cause such issues. I will remove them from the installer in the next update. You need to generate your own personal lod with dyndolod to solve these issues. billboards and 3D lod models are provided for that reason.
It will do no such thing. It only uses your own textures to give you better visuals at a distance along with some nice animated waterfalls and windmills. I suggest you watch and follow to the letter a video by Gamer Poets on how to generate dyndolod step by step.
As I state in the description, just load this mod after any other tree overhaul mods and you are good to go... There is not a single reason why it wouldn't work, unless the author of those mods completely changed the vanilla mesh paths in a plugin of his own. Can't see why anyone would do that though...

Enjoy!
Thank you so much.

Sorry, I don't understand, if I use Enhanced Vanilla Trees, should I also enable Realistic Aspen Trees in it?
THANKS

could you add green aspens for the falmer valley?
The screenshots are appealing, but I can't download the mod (Bad gateway error). I can download other mods, so I think it's not a server error.

Let's see if it wants to be downloaded now
It is only happening on this download as I've downloaded quite a few mods today without issue.
Thanks - it'll come good
