Just realised I left the Architecture meshes for Whiterun in the Dragonsreach version, you don't need them if using just this version so you can delete them if you wish.
Amazing. The effort you put into this, I'm impressed. I adore the changes, can see me fiddling with this for a while. Teh player home is off the charts good. Astounding visuals, displays, i love it. Will deffo be making some patches. Thinking about adding a trapdoor/long ladder from Dovahsreach floor somewhere that exits at the bottom of a ladder in dragonsreach, or something...

I'm following The Northern Experience guide (for the third time since 2018) but has changed so much that these so immersive mods indicated (plants/trees, lighting/shadow, cities...) are no longer and I've had to work and read for hours and contrast information, but for EEKs mods I don't find information.
I've all EEKs mods installed along with JK's Skyrim and when I enter Dragonsreach the game crashes.
I've the following mods with this order of priority (the load order LOOT give it to me):
- Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul (with patch ELE) --> People say that changes meshes and can cause conflict with EEKs mods? - [Several mods] - JK's Skyrim - EEKs Noble Whiterun Door - EEKs Beautiful Whiterun - JK's Skyrim (with ICAIO patch) - EEKs Gildergreen --> they are just tights and seem to be equal to those containing other mods eeks - EEKs Whiterun Interiors SSE (with ICAIO patch) - EEKs Dragonsreach - eeks Dovahsreach SSE (with ICAIO patch) - EEKs Arcadia's Cauldron SSE (with ICAIO patch) - EEKs Belethors General Goods Overhaul SSE - EEKs Bannered Mare SSE - EEKs Warmaidens SSE (with ICAIO patch) - (T'Skyrim - Riverwood) --> It has nothing in common with the mods EEKs nor Whiterun - [Several mods] - Embers HD - [Several mods] - Enhanced Lights and FX (interiors only, without addons or enhancers) - Window Shadows - Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - ELE-ELFX Consistency Patch and Tweaks - Ambient Lighting Combined - ELFX with Shadows - Torches SE Cast Shadows - [Several mods] - JK's Skyrim - 3D Trees Skyrim Patch -> Yes, I have the 3D Trees & Plants mod too
I don't know if any mod in particular, the lack of a patch or priority/load order may cause this crash. Everything else in Whiterun appears to be correct. Any suggestions? Do you think a patch of yours could help me?
PS: You have to try these lighting/shadows mods (in this order of priority) with Re-Engaged ENB (I use the preset for Climates of Tamriel). It looks photorealistic like Kingdom Come Deliverance on Ultra settings and ENB.
And if you can't help me, can you recommend me some Reddit subforums (or others) where people are very knowledgeable in modding Skyrim SE who can help me? Thank you!
afaik EEKs Beautiful Whiterun already includes EEKs Dragonsreach, so that could explain the CTD. I also don't use ELE with ELFX - i use ELFX and the Enhancer.
I installed the patch ELX Fixes and I managed to get through the door and, inside the castle, the game has crashed. I loaded the game directly into the castle and now it works, but there is flickering, or what appears to be a conflict between my lighting and shadows mods. Is there a way to disable EEKs Dragonsreach lighting for my other mods apply lighting and shadows effects? I do not think that EEKs has changed many light sources...

Five years later and I really want to use this mod but am really nervous about the bug reports and some of the comments on here. I'm guessing the patches are no longer available?
Here are links to some patches I made for this mod, I made these patches a while ago, you should check all patches in xEDIT for errors, which will likely be due to you using newer masters, than for which these plugins were originally created. You can remove any errors in the plugin manually by removing those records.
Likewise, if you want to remove the ICAIO requirement, there is an xEDIT script somewhere that can de-master plugins automatically. Or you can do it old school, get yer hands dirty and go sloshing about in dem records!
Anyway, here's what I got...
EEKs Dragonsreach - ICAIO - improvements,
- new trapdoor link to player home on balcony above Farengars Lab - converted and fixed several meshes with incorrect shaders - doors in player home exiting to dragonsreach balcony work normally - i.e. no more load screen/door - fixed weird LOD architecture at Whiterun Gate exterior - thanks Sheson :) - a heap of other fixes too many to remember

- ELFX - ELFX Enhancer - Embers XD - LUX K747 - LUX - PCE - Stained Glass Windows - Afaicr, this may require wizkid Hall of the Dead Stained Glass windows textures)
I did not make this mod, that's on EEK, and if they want to take these files, update them, upload them here, whatever, feel free. You also need to make the original EEK mod a master requirement (to download, then you can use my patches and files to update and overwrite everything...yah know what i mean, a man's gotta eat, and EEK deserves them download points, and tbf, this mod could do with a bit of a resurgence, it's so damn good.

I stumbled across this mod a few weeks back and while I think the Dragonsreach changes are lovely (especially Farengar's area) I wanted to reach out and tell you how special Dovahsreach is. I'm a sucker for dynamic visual changes based on storage in your home, which is what made me download this entire thing in the first place, but it's so beautifully done as well. I made an entire character specifically so I could use this mod as her home base. Thank you.
That being said, I am having a few issues with it, but given this mod hasn't been updated since 2019, that's no surprise. I'd expected there would be a few! I LOVE Dovahsreach so much. If you ever get back into modding, I'd love just the home itself without the accompany Dragonsreach changes. (Unsure how possible that would be, but they're both such huge changes -- and gorgeous ones -- it's worth calling them out separately.)
If you DO ever decide to make a JK merge, I recommend axing Dovahsreach and keeping his dragon skeleton, kitchen, and some of the architectural details towards the front of the great hall. Possibly doing a little paring down of details in some areas just to make it a tad lighter on some PCs, you feel? but preserving most of your changes especially Farengar's quarters

I just wanted to comment on this mod because your description page is so full of information, very informative, and you even go so far as to lay out the exact details of what cells to edit for things to work together. That is far above and beyond what most MAs do and I just wanted to commend you for it. I'm following another modlist right now, but when I put together my own, this and your other mods are going to be a large part of it. You've won me over.
Love this mod I've had it for a while I'm on my third playthrough I haven't added any mods or deleted any just a new character and now there's a giant hole in the main hall by the fire pit and people are falling through it and not coming back suggestions
