I prefer player homes that you need to buy/build, or that you obtain after a quest. Is it one of the 3?

No, this is just a conversion of the existing tower that you find as-is. I guess maybe you could consider having to get there a means of earning it. But no, this mod contains no such complications.

Alright thanks for clarification ! I think I need to learn modding, so I can make my own patches. I love so many player homes, but so many of them are just "free" to use and it feels kinda odd from a gameplay perspective :P

      Have a good day !

This is a sorely under-appreciated mod!

Reachwind Eyrie has always seemed like a great place for someone to take over. It's safe, defensible, not underground, and has magnificent views. It's a wonder it's not inhabited already!

This mod is a really great example of 'less is more'. The changes it makes aren't massive, but it manages to turn it into a home without necessarily making it look like it's been turned into a home. It's not gone overboard, and it doesn't look like a stereotypical 'player home'. I love this, because if you have no intention of your character moving in, you can just treat it as if it was abandoned, just as before!

But you've got all the amenities, the Dwemer crafter thing is a cool idea, and as the living area (with a cool 'desk' area on a little platform above the bed, and a couple of weapon racks and other bits) is in a separate zone (accessible from a new door to your left as you walk in), you don't have to listen to the Dwemer machines droning on in bed...

This looks awesome! I've always thought that this would be a great player home. Quick question: is this available on xbox 1?

I have not uploaded this to Bethesda.net and I have no plans to currently, unfortunately.

Hey! I just found this mod and I am very excited to download it. However, I would like to ask, is compatible with Project AHO? Project AHO adds a dwemer structure on the cliffs right nearby the tower, so I'm not sure if it would conflict with this mod.

Sorry for the delay. This mod makes some edits to the balcony of the tower, so it does make an edit to an external part of the cell. If you load Project AHO after this mod, then the worst that would happen is that the Soul Gem forge on the balcony might be lost. But all of the internal changes to Reachwind Eyrie would still take.

Great mod! Almost exactly what I wanted. Only one thing bugs me. There's no lights at all in the crafting area. Maybe it's some of my mods that are interfering or did you neglect to add some? :)

Sorry for the late reply. I've never had any issues with lighting in that area. I didn't change, add, or remove any of the lights within the tower. If you're referring to the bedroom crafting, I've also not had issues with it being sufficiently lit, so I'm not sure what would be happening.

I like the small living quarters, I don't know if you plan on adding more in the future but I'd suggest static Dwemer items cups, forks, quest items, anything Dwarven. for a more lived in look, I spawned in some stuff to decorate just to see what it would look like, I'm looking forward to starting a new character collecting and only using Dwarven items.

    Nice work.

    This is an excellent idea.

I think there are things that might conflict a bit. There's an egg hunt mod and I believe there's an egg up there. Not sure if your mod and that will conflict, but I'm thinking no since the egg spawns on the deck outside. Also I was in there twice in my recent playthrough. First time there were regular bandits. The second time I came there was a boss in there (from Immersive Creatures I'm pretty sure). How would those work with this mod? Would there just be no spawns whatsoever inside, no matter what mod?

I want to check this out for sure. It's got a great view too.

IDK about the egg hunt mod, but I use Immersive Creatures as well and the boss that spawns inside the Reachwind Eyrie is a Dwemer Spectre, so you can go inside the MCM and either disable them entirely or select the No Boss option. (I also don't think that that specific boss in Reachwind respawns at all, but I'm not 100% on that).

I don't know about the mod you're referring to, but any mods which don't use scripts to place things inside will conflict, as this mod (obviously) edits the cells directly. If this mod is loaded below mods which edit the cells inside the tower, then this mod will be overridden by those changes. Conversely, if you place this mod below other mods which make direct edits to the tower, those changes will get overridden, so in the end it comes down to what you'd prefer to have.

You may also want to look into Mator Smash, which could patch the cell changes together like a Bashed Patch.

This looks to be EXACTLY what I’m looking for in terms of player homes. I love Dwemer stuff. Two questions...
    1. I’ve got Ordinator, which has perks that let me upgrade Workbenches/Weapon grinders/Alchemy Labs/Arcane Enchanters — will the ones added in this mod have any issue with that if I try to upgrade them?
    2. Dumb question — the chests are safe, yeah? :p

The Alchemy and Enchanting benches are standard vanilla benches so I don't see it being a problem (I use Ordinator as well). Same goes for the Weapon grinder and armor bench.

And yes, the chests are safe.

EDIT: Whoops. The chest on the right at the top of the tower still had the respawn tag. I've fixed that just now and I'm about to upload the fix. But the rest of the storage is all safe (I double checked, it has been a long time since I made the mod and I was a bit green when I did).
