LUMASHARPENING: You can enable Luma Sharpening shaders by setting: EnablePostPassShader=true in the enbseries.ini
Beware of those bugs: 1. Nighteye / Vampire vision / Kajiit Vision not yet fully implimented 2. Do you got a enormous bright glowing sky? Then the enb helper Plugin is not working. Make sure you are on the Latest SKSE Version.
the smoke effect (indoor and outdoor) move with camera. for exemple when it's raining the far fog move when i look around and also little smoke effect. Anyone had the same issue ?
Edit : changed for cathedral wheather fixed the issue
Okay so I've noticed a lot of people in the comments don't understand the instructions provided on the mod page. I didn't either, and it took me a bit to figure it out. I replied to someone else here with this, but I figured I'd copy and paste it into its own comment to make it easier for people to find. I'm not an expert by any means, I'm just some noob that tinkers with stuff so I don't think I'll be able to answer any further questions, but here's what worked for me.
After you've installed your ENB binaries, go into your Skyrim Special Edition folder. The one with the skyrimse.exe and the skyrimselauncher.exe files. If you have a folder in there titled enbseries, delete it.
Download this mod MANUALLY and unzip. There will be a bunch of different folders in there. Go into the folder with the weather mod you have installed (I have Vivid Weathers, so I chose the Vivid Weathers folder.) There should be an enbseries folder and an enbseries.ini. Copy and paste those into the Skyrim Special Edition folder (the one I mentioned earlier with the exe files). If you are prompted to overwrite anything, do that.
This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHCYoVB8P_Y provided by a generous person a few pages into the comments here, is what helped me figure this out, and it also has information about how to install ENB binaries if you haven't already. The ENB website is not user friendly at all so that video is very helpful if you're having trouble.
Also, this is how ENBs work in general. They aren't installed like regular mods so they won't work when installed with mod managers (such as Vortex and Mod Organizer). I'm not sure why this one has an option to install with a mod manager because it doesn't work that way. But ENBs must be installed manually, and put into the Skyrim Special Edition folder (or the Skyrim folder if you're using oldrim) rather than in a mod manager folder.
I didn't realize this before so I figured this information would be helpful for other people.
bro thank you i got it working finally i got another question tho is it better to use realistic water two or the mod the guy is recommending down below
@JarlViking https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/jis1pf/the_best_water_setup_for_skyrim_in_2020_pc/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I have followed that and seems to work. With ENB though water will look good pretty much no matter what. Also reason ENB install instructions are a issue is its taken for granted that everyone knows how it and presets work since its been a thing for a decade+. Honestly you might be safer skipping water mods all together unless you look up how to deal with compatibility because many mods have unexpected compatibility issues with each other if you arent familiar with skyrim. IE: Land editing mods, (Some sound mods relate to that) a lot of water mods, mods that add objects to world etc.
The install instructions are really bad here, compared to other ENB mods, like Rudy's, that's for sure. Although it's really easy to install an ENB, people new to ENBs could get problems. I'm also a bit baffled that the enblocal.ini is not mentioned. Maybe that means the silent advice to use the enblocal.ini from the enbseries folder (put it into the Skyrim folder, together with d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll from the enbseries Wrapper version).
I did some searches to see if anybody else had this issue. I'm using the latest ENB v04.88. When I launch the game, I get 2 errors on my loading screen in enbeffect.fx (233, 1) - same line of code. First error says, "Error x3086: alternate cases for 'Texture2D' are deprecated". Second error says, "Error 3000: unrecognized identifier Texture2d". Doesn't appear to have broken anything in game, but I'm not sure if the ENB is working properly either. No error logs in my overwrite and I've made sure all *.fx files outside of the mod do not live in any root (virtual game folder - I use Root Builder to help me compile a Wabbajack list) folder. Any ideas?
Only thing is the sunshine seems too bright, making it hard to see the landscape ahead. Tried fiddling with the ENB settings, reduced it a bit but anyone have any suggestions?
Still love this ENB and I miss using it. There are few others that support Vivid Weathers and even less that seem to really uphold the look that mod aims for. But sadly this ENB doesn't seem compatible with Embers XD.
The explanation isn't clear, I agree, or at least, I didn't understand it. Especially the last step. But still, there's no need to be hostile about it.
Okay, so I've figured it out. After you've installed your ENB binaries, go into your Skyrim Special Edition folder. The one with the skyrimse.exe and the skyrimseloader.exe files. If you have a folder in there titled enbseries, delete it.

Tad late, in the vivid weathers fomod you can choose between filmic shaders and classic shaders, i think the message is that it's compatible with either one.

Can I use a newer one or does anyone have a link?
