i feel OK about this mod. the vampires are sort of generic and vanila'ish. they are not visually impressing me. they feel more like fledgling vampires. i like the custom names for them.
they are armed with steel swords ? they have no vampire abilities, no bat form or drain.
they feel incomplete. but in a way that's good, because that leaves some room for the player to teach them spells that they prefer and gear them up.
You can get rid of the dark faces on the followers, by including the followers face meshes and textures in a copy of their file folder structure within the data folder with your mod release. You can can find the files here - Skyrim Special Edition/Data/meshes/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom/(nameofyourmod.esp) Skyrim Special Edition/Data/textures/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceTint/(nameofyourmod.esp) Unless you are using Mod Organizer 2 which the creation kit might have those face files in the override folder. Just trying to help.;)
If you used Skyrim LE to create the followers in the creation kit, the files would saved to where your skyrim game is installed to Skyrim/Data/meshes/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom/(nameofyourmod.esp) Skyrim/Data/textures/Actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceTint/(nameofyourmod.esp)
Edit- If you did create the followers in the old Creation Kit, you need to highlight each of the their names in the actor window in the kit and Press CTRL + F4, before those face files will be generated. But they will be saved to the above folders.
I get what your saying but a youtube vid would really help a lot. I've been dealing with this problem for a long time now and I've not found a good solution, especially when I can't see if it worked.
Here is a tutorial on follower creation from Darkfox127. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLgSYzOaTnA If you don't want to see the whole video, you can skip ahead to the 34 min 50 sec mark and he shows how to export the face gen in the creation kit.
Any chance these will work with fangs and eyes? I'd love for a version that is compatible with that mod instead of the awful normal textures that glitchesda used to start us off with
