Love the design and the idea behind the mod. I am thinking that maybe it does need the esp though, because I am unable to wear gloves with this model, some like the thieves guild just show a pad over the back of the hand, others like the iron gauntlets, make an entire wrist space break. Maybe the original model references wrists, much like helmets reference hair to remove it.
I am going to try to tweak things in xedit for the original robes to see if I can break something in the game...lol
~edit~ USSEP adds reference to wrists and calves which is what causes the big space break at the wrists. Made a simple espfe override to make it body and calves and stuck it in this mod. Sam Guevenne looks pretty cool in these, he was first npc I saw in them.
how? when i open it in sseedit it doesnt show me anything related to calves or wrists... im a total noob but with a little help i guess i could try to work it out
*Edit* i hope i figured it out... if you find the armor in SSEedit there is a model named... in this case for the robes the name is Warlockrobes and the model file is called warlockrobesAA... and there are the mentioned references which you can edit...
If i should be wrong about this i ask that someone corrects it and most of all lets me know
*edit to the edit* i tried it and at least for me it works... i can use bracers and gloves and when i am in first person view i have no robes on my arms (only the bracers i equipped if i equipped any)... since i also removed the reference for necklaces i would guess that they are visible too, but i cant confirm that yet since i played for like 5 minutes after editing the file... but for anyone using USSEP i would suggest editting the mages robes on SSEedit like davedblak said... i hope this noobish post of mine helps anyone interested in achieving exactly that...
downloaded these on a whim and OMG! Love them! Can you make a female version with like a bikini or bustier type top? Please! Pretty please with sugar and skulls on top!
edit: and then there is the whole redo the images on the kilt part and make these the mages robes for all schools then you could have all the colors in one game! Oooo.... Male and female sexiness all around. I have so many ideas and so little talent for the actual modding. Sigh.
Im trying a no esp playthrough at the moment (just mesh and texture replacements) - i.e. old school. Else I would have made this constructable and standalone for my own use. If theres enough desire for it I might be tempted in the future to make it this way.
Not sure. I tried to reset my skyrim back to base skyrim sse install. Then downloaded and installed just this mod via vortex. All the amulets I have showed on my characters chest - so I dont think the mesh is preventing the amulets being shown. Anyone else with this issue?
Strange. I tested it with no other mods installed but Amulets are not visible. Even tried Amulets of Skyrim with the special meshes but that also didn't work. I am not using Vortex.
I really like it but unfortunately the sleeves of original black robes are visible in 1st person which is really annoying. If that gets fixed im going to reinstall this again! <3
EDIT: I think i have a reason why this didnt work in 1st person for me....im guessing that it was because of rustic clothing textures.

EDIT: Oh dear god everything past the elbow disappears with gloves or any gauntlets equipped

Yes. Standalone version would be most welcome please.
In my game amulets are not visible when wearing this replacer. In your screenshots i see it's working. Any clue?
