I've posted a new version that's tagged as an ESL.
Updating from Version 1.0/1.1 - ESP? Here's how to do it safely: 1. Uninstall the mod completely. 2. Load your game and make a clean save. 3. Install the new version. 4. Use the book to replace your statues and shrines.
The ESL version will be the supported version from now on.
There shouldn't be a problem in your case. Should've clarified this - the issue exists only if you're installing the ESL version over the ESP version. In the process of conversion the form IDs need to be compacted - this is the problem that can cause issues.
April 27, 2020 After releasing v1.1 of my other mod, Butterflies Unchained, I realized that I had to take a break from modding to tend to other responsibilities. I haven't completed this mod and I'm working to return to it. Prior to beginning work on my other mod, I had actually completely recreated the in-game menu to add full support for Wintersun. I'll be reviewing my work and finishing its implementation. There are a lot of shrines to decorate, so I'm not sure how long this will take.
In addition, future releases will include the source files for this mod's scripts, so anyone can improve upon my work or use it as a basis for their own. I do not plan on releasing existing scripts, as they will be receiving a rewrite in the new release.
it would be cool if you could change it to worship a daedra god like Malakath or Nocturnal and change it to their statues, i know its alot to ask but could you possibly make a version like that if you feel up to it. Great mod by the way, fantastic idea.
I know this is highly unlikely but is there a chance you might expand on this addon with negative affects from other jarls? Like if you make a shrine to sithis can there be a questline where the jarl attacks your stronghold due to your 'heretical ways'?
I know this is a little petty, just curious if it can even be fixed. When you change the god that the temple is set for, the doors still read Temple of Mara regardless of which altar you have selected.
Last time I worked on the mod that was on my todo list. Just came back to Skyrim and I'm itching to finish the mod update I had planned, so you may see this in the future.
I don't know if this is too much to ask, but I would fucking LOVE it if you could integrate this with Enai's "Wintersun" mod so I could dedicate my church to at least some of the gods from his faith system. My Redguard would sure love to pray to Tall Papa in a dedicated chapel!

Me, a deadra worshipper: but.. but...
I'll likely expand it to daedra worship too.
