The textures are a vast improvement to vanilla runes. The brightness of the colors are way too neon bright for my game though. Gonna have to put this in Tracked Mods for now. I hope some day you have an update that allows the user to select brightness. Good work overall.
Same here, I like the design but they are so bright it's too easy to spot them, kind of takes the surprise element away from the runes that have been placed for the player to trigger.
I'll track the mod in case a more vanilla-like brightness is available in the future.
I like the designs, and they do look neat. They're very visible, though, and where the vanilla runes fade in a bit, these are still very noticeable. I'm not sure what you can do about that, whether you can tweak the transparency or something..but overall, they're cool and bring a little life to the old runes.
Thank you for the kind words I'll admit I'm no texture guy like the Noble Skyrim author. I was honestly just screwing around with Photoshop when I made these retex's. Maybe adjusting the opacity would make a difference. I'll screw around with these later and just make an optional file.
Well, these look quite nice. You know you're going to have to make textures for the Dragonborn runes, now - the people shall have nothing less. Here's the blog post I used as a starting point when I made the worn-out versions of my own rune textures. Feel free to use my mod's Apocalypse compatibility patch if you ever want to cover those four runes, it's CC-BY.
I'll make the Dragonborn runes sometime today or tomorrow. Doing the 3 existing runes only took a few hours. And most of that time was spent learning how to make proper dds files with alpha channels.
i really like this mod especially the Sun and Shock rune, thank you for this mod. Just a request, hopefully you cover other runes, from other mods as well. Again great mod

Still, good job on the runes Chrishpz.
I've been using detailed runes for a while now and wanted something different. Nice change of pace.
Endorsed!
NOTE:
"Ultimate HD Fire Effects" users.
Make sure to overwrite this Mods "runefire01.dds" file over the HD Fire effects Mod.
Unless you like how Fire HD rune texture looks, then do the opposite.
