As of now, i believe there is no major problems with navmeshing and clipping. There should be access to all cells, in case of a problem please enter a bug report under bugs tab so i can tell what really is a problem. Also screenshots if possible.
Yeah. I'd like to add that I've found the Cities of the North to cause no end of trouble with the new interiors. They clash with all sorts of things, and the development seems to have been taken over by a total bellend... so... yeah. Now I want to try this for the Great Cities and JK without Cancer of the North.
I agree with this group of folks. Adding the North mod into the mix makes it look like a bunch of modders puked all over the game. Mixing JK's and The Great Cities is the perfect mix. One question...how should one patch AI overhaul with your mod?
i know its abit late but on the other mod page the patch for JK's and great cities only is near the bottom with the optional files ive used it in 4 playthroughs and never had a problem
Just here to +1 this, I use Great Cities and JK's but not COTN. Adding all three together is just way too much visually. There truly is no alternative to this patch, I'm very grateful for it and it's a must-have for me.
Would be great if you did. As the alternative requires cotn and that just causes ctds, there seems to be issues with it or the merge patch for it just does not work.
+1 for this page to be continued. The Great Cities of JK's North is a load order nightmare, causing CTDs with the slightest hiccup, plus the COTN series has been compacted.
Definitely recommend you start working on this again, if you're interested of course. The COTN have been updated and compacted into ESLs, so nearly all of the patches made for them are now incompatible and will likely have to be remade from scratch (Including The Great Cities of JK's North). I personally don't like COTN so this kind of patch is perfect to keep the lorefriendly vanilla + feeling of Skyrim that JK's and TGC brings.
Ya I really dont want to use cotn because of the endless issues I keep seeing it having with that patch. Simply patching jk with the great cities was what i wanted anyway so this is still useful.
Does this work with only some of The Great Cities or does it require all of the mods? I'm not using Great Cities for Morthal, Dawnstar, Winterhold, Falkreath, or Solitude, so...
Hey all, quick question. I want to use both JK and The Great cities, which is what I would use this mod for. I also want to use Legacy of the Dragonborn, which has patches for both JK and The Great cities respectively. Would I get those patches for LotDB then this one? Anyone use all three of those mods?
Dawnstar is completely unplayable for me. When I use JK's Skyrim and The Great Cities - Minor Towns together, ALL the other towns are okay, except for Dawnstar. I get around 10 FPS in the city, and the docks are overlapping each other. In front of the Jarl's home the snow on his steps floats in the air, and directly in front of those stairs there is a chunk of the ground elevated with a hole in front of it.
I'm not sure what I'm going to to, because I'd probably have to uninstall The Great Cities and then install 5 separate mods, each with their own patch (if they even exist that detailed separately). That means I'm dumping like 2 mods and gaining around 10, which is REALLY frustrating. Can you do anything to fix, it by updating this patch? (I already have it installed and the problems persist)
I can confirm everything above. Dawnstar is completly ruined in this version. The only way i could make both of those mods together, is by using this patch (JIC someone looks for a solution): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33687?tab=description
