Hello, would it be possible to add armors in as well? Its quite odd seeing Erevan and Hiram talk about being knights of rose while wearing heavily nordic plate armor. How would one possibly go about this?
install your preferred heavy knight armor mods (or light knight armor mod). install xedit (SSEedit for SE), load interesting NPCs esp (if you are using 3DNPC model replacers, then just load that mod), go to the outfits tab in 3DNPC esp (or the replacers), then just right click andd add as many new outfits as you need for each NPC you want to give unique armors to or just replace their existing outfits. Each outfit can be used for more than one NPC so u can make all of them wear the same armors if u want.
I had a couple of the weapon rewards disappear from my inventory. unfortunately I didn't notice until it was too late to reload a save. Can I get those back somehow?
That sounds more like an issue with Interesting NPCs itself or on the user end of things. You should ask over on that page; it's linked in the Requirements in the Description here.
This mod is simply a model replacer with tempering recipes added in.
I tried installing this on LE and the game is playable but the weapons only appear as red exclamation point. Is there a way to make this work for LE?
Edit: Got it to work by installing all of the required custom weapons and disabling their esp (and extracting the textures and meshes from bsa). Work without backporting. Thanks!
Edit2: Using the Insanity's Celtic Katana, Sugaruya Katana, Unique Bows, Dunmeri Leaf Swords, Kukatsuo Weapons listed in the description will resulted as red exclamation point, so use the LE version instead for Insanity, Unique Bows, Dunmeri and Kukosuo Weapons. For Sugaruya Katana, I use Insanity's Dragon Katana instead. How I did this is by copying the texture and meshes from that mod into this mod's forder and changing its name into the one in the katana folder. Now everything works!
You probably already know this, but INPCs for SE are now officially at the Nexus again, so you can link directly to that page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29194 and that way this mod will be visible in the required mods and more people will know about it.
I wasn't comfortable releasing this as an esl since I don't fully understand them and I'd rather not use other peoples games as a learning experience. There's probably a tutorial out there on how to convert esps to esls. Or since this is such a simple mod, you shouldn't have much trouble merging it with Merge Plugins. The operative word being "shouldn't".
Hi, you can use SSE Edit to make ESL flags for your ESP files! Its really simple. Load up SSE EDit bia mo2, let all the mods load, (or some, in your case lol) and then right click on any and choose 'apply script. Type 'ESL' into the box and choose "Find ESPs that can be turned into ESL files" or something like that.
Press okay and wait for it finish.
Say, the way to make a ESL straight away is to change the Record flag in the view tab For Compacting FormIDs, right click on the mod, and click "Compact for IDs for conversion to ESL:"
ONLY DO THIS FOR MODS THAT MUST BE COMPACTED.
Please be sure to run your game every few conversions. Most likely, unfortunately, with LOTS of new ESL files, requires a clean save. there are youtube videos out there for this. Best of luck :)
I think this file can easily be a ESL:, I have yet to see.

Again, thanks for making this mod!

Anyway, glad you consider it a must have.
