NOTICE ON COMPATIBILITY AND PATCHES: I follow the philosophy that a modder mods for themselves first and shares their creation with others. As such, a modder may not use every single mod out there that may run into compatibility issues. Odds are, I do not use SkyRe, PerMa, etc etc etc. I do not know if they are compatible or not, either. I will make compatibility patches if I personally use a mod that may clash (as the case with Ars Metallica) or if it's not too much effort. Others may make compatibility patches with my permission and review (you must still acquire permission from the other interacting mod's author as well!) and I may post them in Optional Files here with credit in the file's secondary description text. If you do, remember proper mod etiquette and make sure your patch is free of Identical-To-Master overrides (ITMs), Unintentionally Deleted Records (UDRs), and Wild Edits. TES5Edit can clean up the former two automatically if you set it up to.
Please do not ask for compatibility patches or if a mod is compatible. Your question will directed to this stickypost. If you have skill with the CK and/or TES5Edit, you can check for yourself if things are compatible, and try your own hand at making a patch. As stated above, I may post it in the Optional Files section.
Do not engage in entitlement attitude and publicly state you will withhold endorsement unless compatibility patches are released or I do some other thing to the mod. Your post will be summarily ignored at minimum. I am far from being the only modder who does not like such demands.
I will not be making bows or arrows. The Dawnguard already has crossbows, their specialty item.
This man casually came in to the nexus, dropped one of the best top quality weapon expansion mods, and then proceeded not to make anymore. Makes me sad. Would love to have seen an expansion to the skyforge stuff to make them unique
Ok so this is gonna most likely sound like a silly question to ask, but does this mod absolutely need Ars Metallica to even function? I only ask out of minor confusion because I read the Install section of the mod's front page and it mentions that other specific mod, so now I'm just wondering if I can run the mod without Ars Metallica or if I need that particular mod to make everything function.
Hi, I am a huge fan of your mod. I was hoping I could get your permission to port the latest update of this mod to Bethesda.net for Xbox, you'd be credited ofc. With your permission, l'd like to upload this version of this mod and keep it updated on xbox at no inconvenience to you.thank you,
The scabbardless greatsword is a loose file overriding the scabbard-clad instance in the mod's BSA archive, so simply delete the loose file to let the BSA-packed instance do its thing again.
I think I added this mod after I defeated Harkon and cured Serana from her vampirism. Since I wanted to roleplay as if she became a Dawnguard member in her new human life, the dagger from the mod worked perfectly. Everything (mid-save) was updated accordingly to the mod description: weapon racks, NPC's weapons and new spells being sold by Sorine and Florentius

I think I'll remove that requirement to nix this confusion in the future.
Thanks for the mod.
Thanks for the great work!
Is this mod able to add mid-save/playthrough?
Thanks
