With the 1170 update this wasn't working but, as it turns out, it is working; I just have to activate it in the game menu under "Creations" rather than with Vortex. Odd.
I'm having the same issue. Can't imagine why it's causing that to happen, but as it turns out I'm still constantly having to turn around and make sure the NPCs are caught up with me, so I guess I'll go without the mod. Unfortunate
I suggest you do not use mods on that starting section at all. Certain mods break the entire sequence all the way to the point where your bounds are released. Either use a mod like alternative start or do a clean (un-modded save) and then load you mods from that point. Its far safer.
@SirDaemon using a clean unmodded save as a starting point of a modded game is alway a bad idea. Many mods and settings are set on the games first start initialization, along with persistant settings for many items, people etc. The only way to start a modded game is from the beginning, weather that is with an alt start mod or vanilla.
so i uncapped my frames so i can play at 144 and i was hoping this would fix the npc movement bug when you reach frames over 100, does anyone know how to fix this bug?
I recently uninstalled this mod after it seemed like NPCs were walking too slowly- struggling to climb a single stair at a time for a few seconds. However, I'm still seeing this even after removing the mod and starting a new save. Has anyone else encountered this or have a suggested fix? I've also noticed that the textures for all feet are now broken, but I can't imagine that bug has anything to do with this mod.
Hooray, a mod that makes everyone walk at the same pace without gimping our run speed! Personally, I would love to see a mod that raises player walk speed to the level of NPCs, to make walking actually practical on the keyboard (without doing anything else) but this is the closest we'll likely see and I'm still happy with it. Thank you, spicychronoms!
I tested this mod with "Realistic Humanoid Movement Speed SSE", and both NPCs and The Player have the same speed (from mod). RHMS also reduces running and sprinting speed, so it might not be for you, but you may find other mod you want, and see if it works. I load this mod before "Realistic Humanoid Movement Speed SSE".
AFAIK the player has same walking speed as npc, but player's weapon and armor slows down player significantly, activate steed stone and you will see the difference.
can someone please help? I tried pretty much any mod now that syncs player and npc movement speed but they are never in sync, yes i also removed my armor to see if its that but no they are still faster than me. It worked at first with this mod but now i noticed that this is not the case anymore and no matter what mod i install they are never in sync
There is a very new mod called SB - Better Movement that I'm trying out now. SB meaning "slightly better." It's mod # 60158. It's too soon to know if I'll endorse it.
Confusingly, there is an older mod with an almost identical name, Simply Better Movement Speeds. It's mod # 130. I've used that mod in the past and I can recommend it. Give these two mods a try and see if either of them works better for you.

Whoosh!
Alduin passed over them before they could get to the village,
More immersive.
Afaik I have never experienced issues with the intro on a modded save

Use SSEEdit to find out what mod causes the conflict.
Cheers
