This is an approved port of Dragon Tree Temple by Bhaktisean

It is now in its GOLD form and has full and vanilla versions available for download.

I still may take requests but you would have to make a compelling case.

If anyone knows how to get Elianora to reply, I have similarly done ports of Tirashan and Elisdriel I could release.

This post is from the maker of this mod.... I deleted my account so I no longer have control of it....

I made a more modern version of this mod:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39907

Matthew updated his 3D landscapes mod and changed the form IDs which really messes up this mod.... The new version corrects for this and introduced a lot of wildlife to the island. This mod is pretty much broken as it is so I would recommend you download the new version

Yes, hello. I noticed a problem with this mod. 1st. You have all your files in a folder called "Dragon Tree Island SSE Vanilla Version 2... When they should be in a Data folder. Then if need be it, put into this folder. A data folder is how the Nexus is able to interpret their destination. It also seems it's missing textures. When I install it either way, (the way you have it packed, or fixed my way) the teleporter has a triangular pound sign. And doesn't teleport, anywhere. When I try using the command prompt. It crashes.

      Hi KM
Try moving my mod to after any other mod that modifies the College Examples: Immersive College Winterhold, Oscaros College Winterhold ........

I load my mod before these and they follow but unless the green door triangle is present in the last mod loaded .... followers won't follow.

This mod makes minimal changes to the college exterior and none to the interior.

I did as you suggested, putting my college of winterhold mod after the tree but my followers still aren't following. They go into the tree but they refuse to go into the portals, I've even clicked on 'I need you to do something' and clicked on the portal; They said, 'sorry, I can't do that'. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated! I longed for the day for this tree mod to get into SSE and after all that waiting, I can't even have my followers live with me. ):

    Wow! This looks amazing!
I'm sure it was quite an undertaking.
Kudos to you for reaching out to so many mod authors and including their amazing works in this awesome product. And thanks to them for allowing you to do so!

I've been using the oldrim version of this for so long, and I'm so happy it was moved in this away from everything because it was sorta crashing my game. I'll miss seeing it in the distance though lol

      Glad you like the idea
Dragon Tree Temple has effects on the game for cells even quite distant ..... In my new wordspace it is 60fps

There is a huge problem with SSE regarding new content in Tamriel .... even the smallest worldspace edits override 4 or more mod cell navmeshes .... and this causes problems. Combined with dirty edits it is a huge mess. IMO significant new content should be made outside of Tamriel at this point.

The modding community should specialize into worldspace builders, moddlers, and quest makers. This has happened to a limited extent already. But it is still way to convoluted to make compelling quests with the current CK

Community support of SSE has provided tools to do things impossible a year ago ....... especially CK fixes and SSEEdit

Feel free to comment on anything about this mod ....

I love how beautiful this mod is, even in its vanilla form. I use True storms, but it seems weather particles still come through on the top home treehouse area. I'll be inside the house and notice snowflakes coming through the roof still. I mean i may be mistaken but I thought SSE made it that home outdoor roofs actually blocked weather particles like rain/snow/ect from coming through those areas.

      Hi TX42

      Thanks for your appreciative comments.

Sadly SSE has rain occlusion but not all types of snow ....... Their system of rain occlusion is actually a little bit complicated and transparent meshes don't even occlude rain.... But mostly it works

Which version of my mod are you using?

In the latest version I initially disabled the trigger box that resets the the current weather from Tamriel to a weather for my mod ....... thus it will often be snowing when you come to the island and because SSE doesn't have snow occlusion it snows inside.

If the weather changes naturally it should never snow in this worldspace as I have set it so all the snow weathers are disabled in this world.

If you know how to use SSEedit just remove the "initially disabled" flag from the triggerbox and the weather will always be clear and sunny when first travelling to this worldspace.

I can upload a version that restores the weather reset upon first travelling to the island if you like.

here no portal, probably because I have "obscure's college of winterhold" and "winterhold restored". Too many mods on winterhold :(

This mod was made with Winterhold Restored in my load order so that is no problem.

I use Immersive College of Winterhold and it also works with that.

Obscure's College, I never tested and is probably the problem.....but looking at the screenshots it doesn't look like the part of the College with the portal was edited.

It is on the second floor outside of the Hall of Elements at the back

Wanted to try the mod, but the vanilla version still shows dependencies (Campfire etc are listed as masters), so the plugin is not loading without them. Is it how it's supposed to be?

Sorry I'll check that out today and post a new version...... The campfire dependencies are just xmarkers and should have got stripped out....

When I uploaded the 2.1 version with the LOD fix I must have messed up the version for the BSA packaging ...... I will fix ASAP
Nope .... just forgot to clean unused masters in SSEedit ......

Thank you! (That was probably the reason it was not show up in the game for the previous poster).

I hadn't used this yet but I was planning on it. until you made the skybirds a dependency. it's a very script heavy mod that I don't feel adds tat much in a cost-benefit sort of way. good luck with the mod though, it's a nice idea having it outside tamriel worldspace

I released the full version first because I was hoping for some help from the community beta and fps testing but that didn't pan. I would never make a mod with that amount of dependencies without also making a vanilla version too. With SSEedit it literally took me 15 min to make the vanilla version.

I will agree to disagree with you about skybirds ....... It is a work of art and isn't script heavy as you can use to console to reduce spawns it you run a lot of heavy mods.

This looks fantastic. This is one of my favorite houses and I really like the idea of setting it in its own world space. Unfortunately I don't use vivid weathers, but as soon (if you are able) to release a vanilla version I will download it!

Sorry for the limitation .... Actually that dependency is easy to remove. I will give it a week for complaints and then re-release

The mod looks far far better with Verdant grasses .... how do you feel about that dependency?

The CK automatically added Verdant as a master for this new world and it would take quite a bit of testing to see if I can remove it and keep the verdant changes without mayhem. Verdant results in grass clipping with a lot of mods but there are mergible patches that fix most of that. This worldspace looks so lifeless without Verdant. I tried a few other grass mods but they had issues in Tamriel with my load order
