I extracted it and wrye bash still reports the same thing when i open it up. How do i do it? NVM i fixed it i was trying to extract the scripts and not the strings i'ma dummy
This mod conflicts with "Not So Fast - Mage Guild" in the MG01 quest, and I'm not sure which one should take precedence. Or maybe we need a compatibility patch? I'm not an expert in quest editing, could you please look into it?
Came here to report the same thing. I have CoW Entry Reqs loaded after Not So Fast, and it prevents Tolfdir from ever suggesting to go to Saarthal, so you can't advance the quest.
You could try Not So Fast after this mod, but I'm not sure the entry requirements would take effect. My guess is it would need a patch.
Im playing a Barbarian Dragon Born and need entry to speak to someone in the college. This mod saved me. Thank you!!!!
*EDIT* Hmm once i get in it crashes near the Magic user that is supposed to show me around. Back to the drawing board. Could be that i am using immersive College of Winterhold mod.
*EDIT* ok i got some troubleshooting to do. Looks like i got in with out this mod and its still Crashing at the same spot. I always make sure the mod is not responsible and take note of it if i find its not at fault. This mod if i can found the issue I will use because it offers an alternate way of getting in which is kind of crucial to me being a non magic user.
thank you for the mod. I will continue to investigate my own issue. If i find anything to help other users i will post again with a solution being i might not be the only one with the issue.
SOLUTION: I was crashing so at the Moment I go to speak to Mirabelle Ervine. Crash... SO i learned that LOWER HOODS Weapons Armor And Clutter Fixes PATCH can cause a Conflict. The patch is called LoweredHoods_WACCF.esp. Just a heads up. I will put this post in Immersive College of winterhold as well so to give people a heads up and alert the loweredhoods author a heads up as well.
Thank you for updating it and porting it over! Surely a must-have mod for me!
I have a question though...peeking through xEdit i saw that you are editing the MG01 vanilla quest and you are removing some script properties from script "QF_MG01_0001F251". Why is that?
Moreover, since USSEP is editing this quest as well, there is an override to a USSEP's added property for the script "MG01QuestScript".
Having reviewed this mod in xEdit I to am asking about the edits to MG01, especially those that overwrite the Unofficial Patch. It seems a lot edits outside of Farelda's entrance dialogue are affected by the deletions made to MG01 from this mod.
Any chance of looking into this and some feedback?
Awesome, thank you for this! I was having issues with my DIY conversion, and it might have been that I use Ordinator. And it's an ESPL!!! You've really hooked us up with this one.
