My minor case of OCD forced me to capitalize the n on numerical - that one letter being off bugged me. Great mod to port, this reminds me of older RPGs using the plug or minus numerical values.
Just wondering: is it possible to have a suffix for *untempered* items?
Would work hand-in-hand with degradation mods, with "fine" or "exquisite" being the baseline and the untempered version would be something like "(damaged)"
I've never used that mod personally, so I'm not sure. Most likely if you were to load this after it may work. Do let me know though if it does, and I'd be happy to add it to the Description for the sake of others.
As for your other question, this is not an actual ESL. This is an ESL-flagged ESP, which allows it to adhere to normal load order rules while also not counting towards the normal plugin limit.

I tested your mod with Loot and degradation and it work perfectly ^^
