Any chance on getting one that removes the spores completely?

I would do it for you but I can't repack BSAs without the archive tool in creation kit (I'm in VR) waaaah, if you can... just make the transparency maximum or reduce the texture to a 1x1 fully transparent pixel for performance.

EDIT! Check out "Blackreach Edits", there is a main file there called Blackreach weather, it removes the spores.

    Nice mod

You think you could try the water drops in caves/tunnels? There was a mod for OG Skyrim called drops but nothing is available for SE yet.

can you make it compatible with blackreach edits aka blackreach reimagined (blackreach weather file)? it makes blackreach looks 100x better, but due to personal preference the author got rid of the spore snow thing :(

Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I am not actively developing this mod further nor do I have plans to create comparability patches. (I made it as part of a larger mod, Duathfel, and decided to release the texture update as a stand-alone download.). However, if you or others would like to create a patch for blackreach reimagined, or any other weather mod, feel free to do so.

Perfect! Glad to hear you found a solution. If you would like to upload your patch to the nexus, feel free to do so. If you do, let me know and I will add a link to the description.

fellas, i don't know about a patch, but this is what i've done as advised by the original mod author Lyss - "The Blackreach weather record listed in the description. Restore the record containing the "snow" which, if I remember correctly, was listed as precipitation, using SSEEdit; don't change anything else in the weather record and save it. It should then be as you are asking."

This is indeed wonderful. I forgot to snag some screenshots when I was in Blackreach in my last playthrough. I'll try and remember next time ;)
Also it seems to work just fine with Cathedral Weathers in my playing.

I love subtle tweaks like this, awesome!

Can I get it as an esm, though? ... Jk

Anyone know whether this will work correctly on top of Obsidian Weathers?

I'm not able to. It doesn't have any hard conflicts (they don't edit the same records), but I can't see any precipitation in blackreach with or without this mod.

Probably because Obsidian weathers alter the "blackreach weather" ID removing/replacing the the precipitation, you have to check it.

I'm using NAT and it work because it do not alter blackreach weather, ELFXEnhancer alter it but only to makes more dark, so it work even with it.

Not everyone's load order is compatible with .esl plugins, mine included. Please upload a normal .esp version. Thanks.

what you're looking for is an "espfe" option. not an actual esl. make your esp, then check the box in xedit to turn it into a FLAGGED esl file. loads in the FE slot, but you can still move it wherever you want.

I agree with MikahBones. For this mod, you probably have to compact form ID's first, which is a simple right click in Xedit, then set the header flag as esl. I'm not sure there would be a problem with leaving this as an esl, but esl's always load as light masters. It's much better to just flag the esp as esl - best of both worlds.

Thanks for the tip. I converted the esp file to an esl file and packed the loose texture into a bsa file for good measure.
