Update 12/4/2021 (v1.2.1): (Possibly) Fixed invisible snow in some cases. This was achieved by changing the texture path for the snow particles to textures/interface/titlesnow.dds, which is an exact copy of textures/effects/fxsnowsoftsub.dds from base Skyrim SE. Yes it's super low quality, and yes I'm looking for a better texture. I've also made several adjustments to the snow particles themselves to enhance their movement and look.
OK, so I saw the fix for adding the logo in AE but I'm still unable to get the snow particles. I copied the intmenufogparticles.nif into a Data/meshes/interface folder and the titlesnow.dds into data/textures to try that out and, yea, it didn't work. As you can see, I have no idea what I am doing. Any help?
I was WAY off. I had given up on this then, while trying to sort out why another mod wasn't working, I discovered the one that was overwriting this one! I kept getting menu fog rather than the snow/embers/etc. It was Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB. If anyone else uses this without the .esp or .bsa (I haven't tested with those), and have this same problem, just go to meshes>interface and delete/hide intmenufogparticles.nif. That, or just place this mod after Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB to overwrite. Easy as that.
For some reason, when I installed the main menu snow version, the fog over the water inside Rifted got all screwed up. Disabling the snow particles from this mod fixed the problem for me. Not sure if this mod is actually the cause, or if another part of my load order is screwed up, but if anyone is having problems with Riften water fog, try disabling the snow/embers portion of this mod.
Since no one has confirmed it, well, I can confirm that it works for the current 1.6.640 At least it does for the centered 3D version with snow
This mod is great, thanks to it I've been able to keep a main menu as close as possible to vanilla, after mine was changed by.. err.. some mod from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named lol
I'm trying to make a main menu of my own and im having trouble with figuring out how to adjust where the logo is placed when I make it, for me its zoomed in on the bottom right of it do you happen to know how i would change it so that it shows the full logo?
