Anyone having trouble with ores? Mine decided to become untouchable, cannot simply click "mine" on them, and when i walk on them i just go inside the ores...
happy to say that your mod is still working in 2024. Can you perhaps give me instructions to create a mod similar to yours but with increased amount of ore mined?
Go to bed mod is overwriting this mod make sure to place it below that mod. If anyone is having an issue with it not working im using the latest AE version 1.6.1130.0
i'm worried that this will effectively make the Deathbrand quest uncompletable, since you have to mine out a vein of stalhrim out of a wall to progress to the ending. does this mod have a fail-safe or something for that?
You can hit the ore vein three times then open console, click on the stalhrim, and type "disable" or https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/74244
Hello This worked well enough on its own using a pick axe and chop, you just continue to mine and chop, But I didn't want to attack the ore min to min or just teh old vanilla way, But if you also have the mod , magically mine, which I find nice to use for mining, it will constantly mine ore using that mods spell, adn both mods play nice with each other ... Just saying, I was just trying this, out, but prefer for my magic playthru to use the mine ore spell... Thanks for the mod tho !
I don't know if it has something to do with the other 40 mods i have installed however this is the only one that affects mining but after mining a bit of quarried stone in the falkreath house it stopped giving me quarried stone.
WARNING: this mod breaks the Solstheim quest Deathbrand, making it impossible to explore Gyldenhul Barrow without resorting to the console or other abnormal means. There are two Stahlrim deposits in the first part of the Barrow, one of which is scripted(?) to disintegrate when fully mined to reveal a hidden passageway.
By making that Stahlrim deposit infinite, the deposit never depletes, the script never triggers, and the doorway isn't revealed.
The only recourse at that point is to either use the markfordelete and disable console commands or the Delete hotkey of Jaxonz Positioner to remove the deposit. Fortunately the rest of the barrow already exists and isn't also scripted, so simply removing the deposit like that is sufficient to proceed.
download and convert this mod to se, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33702. then open edit and remove DLC2MineOreStalhrim from that mod. save and exit. voila, a mod that fixes the deathbrand issue.
I mean. You can also just use tcl to disable clipping, and walk through. Not very immersive, sure, but neither is mining seventy times the volume of an iron deposit. Decisions.

Since these are just updated mining scripts, you could just do the following:
- Make a hard save, and a quick save just in case.
- Uninstall the mod, which reverts back to vanilla scripts for mining.
- Mine the required Stahlrim deposit
- Save the game.
- Reinstall the mod.
- Resume gameplay as before.
Or, the console options work too.
