Right !! An update would be great, love the castle would love to have it in my SE version but sadly, as there has never been an update it it useless. what a waste of a perfectly goo mod
seems this mod interferes with skystone castle in the terrain and moving it does not do anything so i thimnk moving the castle somewhere else may help fix this issue maybe
For those like me who are looking for a more balanced playthrough, know that this place will give you a ton of god-items and a nearly unlimited supply of money. I was able to beat Valdmire around level 8 during my roleplay playthrough, but had to retcon the existence of Castle Valdmire altogether.
Where are we supposed to keep clothing (other than the mannequins, which I have all using various armor and outfit mods)? I want to stuff robes and various vanilla outfits somewhere, but none of the themed storage seems appropriate. Maybe being nit-picky, but putting an actual closet on either side of the fake closet door would have been ideal.
I know you mentioned that you were not making any more mods, but I just wanted to pop in and say that this is my "go-to" as far as player-owned homes. Wish there was a wizard's tower that was similar (decent amount of beds for followers and children), the "clutter" being containers that are linked to the crafting stations, etc..
One thing I will mention, if you ever do decide to come back, is that it would be a good update to include a servants' section, (2 floors, first floor room is for the mortals in normal beds, and below that a room for vampire staff with coffins that work nights). Also, I think the female npc (forgot the name off the top of my head) is missing some vendor-related info. There is a blacksmith, but not an "innkeeper" vendor that also sells apothecary items.
PS: I do wish the misc clutter was static though :\ (goblets, plates, etc..); or mini-containers that respawned whatever foods/drinks are assigned to them.
Since there's no bug section.. The path up to the castle gate seems to have navmesh issues, followers go around the path to the rocks on side of the castle to get in.
Does anyone know what might be causing this land tearing problem in the castle courtyard? https://flic.kr/p/2kQzUY5
I absolutely love this mod, but that is driving me crazy. It was doing it on my old computer as well, but this laptop is a completely fresh install, deleted all files associated with Skyrim on one drive even, and it's still doing it, but with a completely different set of mods
It looks like a conflict with another mod that alters the same area of land? If you're using MO2, drag the valdmire.esp to somewhere near the bottom of your load order and see if that fixes it.

If I had to change anything I would have added a death hound.
